i saw this over on TGR, super sad, Noah Biorkman whose 5 years old suffers from neuroblastoma, a type of cancer most common in children under 5. He will not make it to Christmas, so his family is celebrating it next week. His one wish was to get letters from people all over the world, so I figured I'd share this with NS. If you want to send him a Christmas card, him and his family would greatly appreciate it

This is helping out a friend of a TGR member, and also helping a poor kid have a slightly better ending

Posting here so that when I wake up tomorrow I remember to go get a card to send to the kid. Feel so sorry for him.
 
What the hell do I say in the card though? I am so horrible at stuff like this, can someone help me some?
 
i have to go to the post office this week at some point, ill send him a hat i crocheted or something. (two wont hurt right elgato?)
 
It doesn't need to be anything brilliantly insightful, just send him a chrismas card

dont even refer to his illness, just write merry chrismas and do some drawings or something
 
Just say, Hi, my name is Mr. Panda, I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas from here in (wherever you are) This is what it looks like here (insert picture/postcard)...

You could even include some hobbies you have, a favourite colour or something. Just to give this kid a little piece of who you are and where you come from.

And I am totally hooking this up when I get home. Thanks for throwing this up.
 
im doing this for sure. i really wanna draw him something nice, cause other than that all i can make is bracelets.
 
im deffinatley sending this kid a car, sooo sad. Sticky this, everyone should send him cards, it would make him sooo happy.
 
sorry for the dub post but i was just at the post office dropping my letter off and there was a lady mailing a letter to the same kid. Im really happy to see this is working
 
ahhhhhh, just knowing and getting a time frame of when your gonna die would be the worst thing in the world. Ill make sure to send a little somthing,,
 
I just sent mine, I'm glad to see it reached NS, I was just about to make a thread about it. PSU THON committees are spreading the word like crazy, I think this kid is gonna get a lot of love this year. So sad..

The point is that, even though he may not get the chance to use it, it is one of those things where the thought is what matters.
