Idk, in general it's a bunch of people who want something so bad that they aren't going to get. Most of the time they're looking for specific things, if you don't have it, you don't have it. Not talking about OP's woman just saying modeling contests in general.

It's not like skiing where you can learn some better tricks and come back next year. That's why people get randomly picked up. People doing normal things in there lives but somebody sees them and it's that exact style they were looking for then win, if that's what you're into.

It's just an area that you can't really better yourself in. For some of the people chasing it, what's the point?
