Okay so, I just got some Troublemakers (168) + Px 12 Jib Troublemaker bindings. I am 5' 6" 120. I ski everything on the mountain, hike out as much as possible. I just started skiing park. I can 540, 270 on/off, do some handrails but nothing crazy. So My question is if I am significantly better at skiing "big mountain," and will be spending more time outside of the park, than in the park but am getting into park skiing where should I place my bindings. I was thinking -2cm (-3.5cm is regular right?)

How much differently will these measurements ski?

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

ahh id say that you wouldnt want to go furthe forward than -2. if your riding mainly all over with a bit of park you dont really want to get a park set up for 10% of ur skiing becuase itl comprimise the rest of your skiing

dont know what's the recommended mounting point for tm's, but for me 2 back seems like a perfect mounting position for an all mt/ park ski.

I think -2 would be just right, I just got some new skis and I am like you I ski all mountian and park. I was gonna mount center but I decided I am gonna go -2 back, seems like a good point for park and everything else.

i would say that you wont rreally be skiing trouble makers on big mountain terrain. and mount them center cause it doesnt really ski that much worse and it will be much better in the park, and if you can do thestuff you claim, you will probaly be getting into park more and more

So your basically saying that I am lieing about skiing big mountain terrain? I hear placement of bindings makes a significant difference, especially when I am in the park 15% of my day, and Friday nights, so why wouldn't I ski something that could be performing better? Your making it sounds like a 540 and 270's are big claims, I like the sounds of that.

if you're a big mountain skier why did you get tm's?
center mount the tm's and then save up for a pair of bacons or something for real big mountain skiing. if you try to mix skis for such different things they will be no good for either
