I have started learning flatspins now, and the rotation seems to go ok, but I cant really land, any tips?

I can’t flatspin but it looks like you’re under rotating on the first 2.

Yeah, I think that is also caused by the mental aspect that Im not sure how to land, and I cant really understand how I spin faster, cause the rotation is still a bit awkward and I try to rotate as fast as I can

I can’t flat either but I had the same problem with backflips. For me, it really helps to pop big and not throw the rotation too early. Then try to finish the rotation just before you hit the ground. This’ll give you time to open up and spot the landing rather than just careening into the snow lol. You’re so close

First one looked good, axis was nice and flat. Just looked like you need to set a bit harder. Maybe going for a safety grab would help you rotate faster?

Might try that next time! The first one was last time, before I had even done a backlfip and the last 2 were from today. I definately need to go faster and set harder so I have more time to rotate and learn to land.

Just a stronger set really and by that I mean fully extending your body and bringing your legs up. Just think about being as powerful in your set as possible (this is different from hucking it harder, don't do that).

try not to tuck but to open up and thrust your hips forward and look to the ski and wait for the grab to come then comes the rotation
