o i have been doing 540s for the second day today. theyre getting better but sometimes I just like land on one ski. and yea ride it out but its sketch. There always better in the morning then they get really sloppy in the afternoon (i prob get tired and lazy) especially after 3 days in a row. 8 - 3:30.

anyways, so in this vid, you can see there sketch and stuff.

so then lets go to swtich 540s. today I was just like what the heck why not try one (even though ive only spun sw 180s off real jumps). the weird thing about me is that when i spin going normal, i spin left, then when i spin switch I spin to the right. So anything above switch 1 feels really awkward becaus eits like a real spin haha. but because I have spun switch 180s right side for so long I dont think I would be able to switch back to left side sw spins. anyways..

i drop for the 1st switch 5. i do a 180 on the 1st hit and ski switch into the next. definately enough speed, i get in the air and im at like 360 and i feel real awkard. couldnt really spot my landing but manage to get the last 180 and ride away clean and pumped.

Go back up the tbar and drop again. absolutely wreck myself. I basically did switch 270 to flail and stop rotating to eat shit hard and tweak my neck. what can I do for switch spins especially getting them better. after I ate it i didnt try them for the rest of the day cuz I was tired and knew id get worked.

but yea, any tips for either direction 540s?

thanks

think about they way your gonna land. like throw a 5 like yu know how to i'm sure but just think about landing backwards after that and let the trick happen rather than trying to fight it.

practice riding switch and looking over your opposite shoulder. once your comforable with that, it makes it a lot easier to spin the way your already looking if that makes any sense.

and most of your 5's looked good, other than the leg coming out on that first one. my suggestion would be try tucking up your legs more, or maybe throwing in a saftey grab or something

if you blaze and you think you get better throughout the day, you probably get worse and therfore your fives get shittier

for the 5's make sure u arent prewinding too much and are centered and have a good hard pop into the spin. try to keep ur hands in front with a wide stance and instead of stopping at a 3, just keep spinning. if you do that you shouldnt land all fucked.

yea i ride switch looking over my right shoulder. so then i spin to the right when skiing switch. so should I just parctice riding switch looking over my left shoulder instead? then try sw 180s the normal way for me? is that what your saying?

yea try to through a grab in to the mix because it may solve the problem of one ski getting away in the spin

i had the same problem you had. i felt more comfortable looking over my right shoulder but i spin left... so i just made myself look over my left one all the time like everytime i rode switch over my left and now it feels natural so keep practicing to look over your left and you'll be fine

more speed. get the sweet spot in the landing a little farther down. Pressure on the front of your boots, you are spinning backseat (on your heels). keep your head down and dont stand up so tall when you are in the air.

If you throw in a safety or some other grab in your 5's it will keep your legs together more. I like to grab leading hand when I do 5's because I feel like I can spot my landing easier and keep my legs tight. Your spin is clean though so just tuck up and grab and you will get it
