help me

The bottoms of my skis are blue and then i come home after a hard day of skiing they have whiteish wax build-up??? is it from riding on ice? or i dont know. I usally use a rub on wax before i go. I have hot waxed them myself once. How can i get this stuff off?? is it bad?? How can i prevent it in the future?

well, you gotta give more info...do the skis seem slow? and are you sure you're waxing right, and getting all the excess off too?

Are you using a iron-on wax as a rub-on wax?

better to burn out...

...then fade away

Yea i do cork after i rub on. I keep looking for forums about hot waxing but they all say something differnt and i dont know which one to use. Im getting all the hot wax off with a scraper. The white stuff was on before i first waxed. Heres the process i wax:

1.Clean bases

2.Drip wax on with iron

3.Go over bases with iron

4.Scrap all off

5.Rub on wax the cork

*am i doing anything wrong?*
