Help me with My Subaru

Ok so I just bought a 2002 subaru outback H6 3.0L (6 cylinder) automatic. I want this car to perform at its top potential. I am looking for a cold air intake and turbo's. It turns out nobody makes much of anything for this particular engine. I want this to have maximum horse power I don't care about fuel economy ( I do just not a priority). Could you please give me some suggestions to give the engine a little bit more. Thank you.

thanks man. Although there is no category for this dam car ha. I hear of some parts being able to fit different model even if not made for. Anybody know if the h6 motor is compatible with parts for similiar motors?

every subaru has a boxer engine. all of them. so most parts, in theory, shoudl work for a boxer engine. problem is size... you can't fit a 2 liter turbo charger in an outbacks small space for the engine. if you really are interested in tuningyour car to be the best looks and performance wise, i have a cousin who tunes professionally and hes where i've learned everything from. hes like a car guru. if you're interested let me know i'll get you in touch with him

The only things you could do to these cars is exhaust and pulleys. It it a much better idea to make the ride more fun in the corners. Get KYB GR2's, springs, rear sway bar and some nicer tires. www.subaruoutback.org for all the info you'd ever need.

damn someone did hard work into his ouback! thats sick tho.

you could also lower it for looks, although in the mountains its not super practical. but lowering your car is an easy inexpensive way to make it look fast and cleaner.

With these cars, there is no reason to lower. You couldn't lower it enough to make any difference in aerodynamics or handling and you'd lose the ground clearance that makes a subaru... well you know the rest. By the way, the H6 creates a good amount of power and is a super solid engine.

It's not practical though. These engines aren't built for that kind of pressure. At that price you might as well go for a swap.

adn for some actaual help, dont bother. its kinda waste to turbo it, unless you do a manual swap too. which is too expensive, and not worth it. jsut get a tune and other bolt on shit, or leave it and be happy with what ya got, and accept teh fact that for it to be worth it, youd need a better paltform, ie wrx or something.

i'd just like to tell you that if you are interested in performance and are interested in wrx models, do it now. because when my subaru got handed down to me, it was only worth like 12 grand in its shape, but i traded it in and only had to pay like 5 grand for a wrx sti hatchback with nav tons of upgrades. the economy may be bad, but the deals are oh so good.

you have an h6 motor shut the fuck up and enjoy the fact you can drive over jeeps, tundras, and any SUV out there as it is STOCK. its not a race car, turbo would be retarded, put a can on it herm. lolol.
