help me with my computer

ok, so my hard drive crashed the other day so i got a new one and installed it. i have a dell 8100 w/ a 1.7gh p4 cpu. i put in the hard drive partition disk and that worked fine but when i put in my windows me reinstilation cd, nothing happens. it just keeps saying no os found. does anybody know what i'm supposed to do to get it to work? thanks

Go into the BIOS and set the hard drive as the primary boot device and the CD drive as the secondary. If that doesn't work, switch them around.
