Help me with gloves?

Quite frankly, I know jack-shit about gloves. I always just bought $30 or $40 DAKINE gloves, and they were great, but I'm sick of my hands freezing.

I ski the East Coast, lots of typical -10 degree blowing wind kind of days. I want something with Gore-Tex and that is (relatively) cheap.

So far, I've checked out the Marmot Work Glove in a shop and I really liked them. The only problem with them is that they are $85.

So if you have any suggestions, I'd really like to hear them and check them out. I might even dish out some of the K stuff.

Thanks guys.

I've been thinking it over, and as long as they come with the lifetime warranty I don't think I'll mind dropping money on some gloves

Thanks for the input, I'd give you more karma but I believe that you are already at 10.

not necessarily true. my hands are always cold no matter what, just like the original poster's. i got $110 hestras last year. despite them being the warmest glove i've worn, my hands were still cold on occasion. so its obviously a personal thing, hestras are not the be all end all glove. i bought some gore tex dakine mittens off bcoutlet for like 40 so i think i'll be ok this year. but check out bcoutlet, theres some cheap gloves that appear to be pretty insulated, check out the reviews, VERY helpful. good luck with cold hands man, THEY SUCK!

I'm the same way and The Seth Morrison Pr's are the best gloves I've ever worn. My hands still get cold on occasion but that's just case cause I must have really poor circulation.

ya but if the gloves suck it will still be a dissapointment to have spent a lot on them, the lifetime warranty wont keep your hands warm. another way to go is to get some 50-70 dollar gloves and them buying some damn nice liners for them. that way you will still be under 100 dollars and it will be exactly the same as the expensive gloves.
