heh I just moved into my apartment today and I noticed something when i turn on the faucet or the shower it smells like Sulfur (rotten eggs) really bad wtf is that shit? It's a nice apartment btw.

some places have to put sulfur in their water to balence it... it smells nasty, takes kinda sweet. it's nothing to be worried about.

i'd say let the water run for a couple of minutes. if the water hasn't been used in a while there, the sulfur could really build up, and cause rank. running the water could either a) lessen the stench or b) make it worse.

otherwise, find out what neutralizes sulfur chemically (?) or get a water purifier. call the culligan man

i tried running it, it just got stronger and stronger this really sucks you see. I could easily purify the sink water but im not gonna take a shower in rotten eggs before I go out to the bar or for a job interveiw

call down the manager and tell them to come fix your shit because you dont like to smell like ass crack when you get out of the shower.

yeah its nothing to be worried about, youll get used to it. get some of those plug in air freshers if you want to.

Like someone said above, go to the building manager. Most decent apartmetns have a good maintenance department that will fix stuff like that if it's not normal. Call them up, tell them about it, and see what they say. It's their job to make you happy.
