Help me price my skis!

Ok, this is a feeler, cause if I sold these, I'd have a one ski quiver. Honestly, I use my Maden's every day anyways, but regaurdless, its nice having a backup ski. How much do you think I could sell these for?

Saloman 1080 spaceframes, 171's, the first generation type that was all silver with the green and blue bases, with s912's fit for a 27 boot, about 3 or 4 back from center (I'll have to measure when I get home from work).

-They've been drilled once and only once, and have seen only a few rails.

-Edges are near perfect (no separation) but are worn from tunings.

-Bases are great, no core shots or p-tex on them, but there is a small area where I caught a rock near an edge... it's too small for any repair, doesnt impair the ski at all.

-Topsheets are scratches and worn from crossing skis and such, but arent missing pieces or anything due to the cap construction. No stickers on these babies either.

-Bindings are perfect. Nothing has ever broken on these (amazingly).

I'm still not sure that I want to lose my backup pair of skis, but getting some money for these and giving them to some kid who badly needs a pair of twins (and would use them, I skied these twice this year, probably wont ever again) would be great. What would you price these at?

What if I threw in my friend's one unmounted 1080 (same model and year, even better condition)? And before you ask, he lost the other one in the lake.

I think less people would buy them then because the type of people buying those skis would be people new and inexperianced to buying skis and it would just confuse them and they wouldn't know what to do with the extra and not buy them so they didnt have to deal with the extra ski

Well, here we go. Pictures!

Oh, and the bases have a red tinge because I'm using this red warm weather wax on them. The bases need a good wax, and now on second review, there is a mark that may need a little p-tex. Shouldnt be too bad.

As for the third ski, my friend isnt sure he wants to sell it, but throw in an offer if you really want it. Again, this is still officially a feeler, I'll prob sell for sure at the beginning of next season.

i would go ebay if you want more money, or here if you feel like hooking someone up. last year i sold some line mavericks that were 160's with like 4 repaired core shots, and mounted with look nova 9s on ebay and two morons got in a bidding war and paid 285 shipped. i seriously almost felt bad selling them for that much but it definately helped with buying my elizabeths.

so yeah i bet you could get 200 in like november on ebay.

I took good care of them. Cant say the same for the topsheets on my madens.

Ok, I think I'll sell these at the end of summer, thanks for the help!

Yepp, I can see you took care of them. But even though I take care of my skis you still end up with a shattered topsheet, broken skis or countless coreshots.

I don't belive that skis are build to last longer then a season....

you guys should see my original pollards there is not a nick on the bases or edges, and the topsheets only have one small shot about the size of a pencil eraser. i cant believe how well they have held up, but i gotta sell them so i can buy some karmas, or what will be the wall now.
