(16 yrs old, 6 foot, 175 lbs) So I’ve narrowed it down to a few choices. I was on surface givers this year , they were fun but I want something a bit more stable on jumps this is what I’m thinking so far

on3p Jeffrey 96

Atomic bent chetler 100

Icelandic nomad 95

And if I find Icelandic too expensive for some reason Jet skis. And yeah i know, Can’t you see bro, it’s like anti-marketing bro. Keep the brand mysterious bro and then get a bunch of chill bros to ride them bro, the skis sell themselves bro.

k2 poachers

prob gonna get a bunch of dislikes for mentioning jet skis in a list, but also feel free to tell me some other skis that are slightly on the stiffer side and roughly 95-105 underfoot

Can’t talk for myself but the nomads have a very good reputation on NEWSCHOOLERS

Fun skis, but not that durable, don’t wanna get surface again

I love my kartels (pretty much same as Jeffs). Did you look at the snipers by surface if you like surface already?

Jets and nomads won’t be as stable as you want on jumps. Nonetheless, they’re fantastic skis. You can find nomads for decent deals barely used, I have a friend that found nomads for like 350 just mounted once and no damage.

I didn’t like my mags on jumps. Look into something like arvs or edollos if you want stability

My surface givers were like almost as soft as blends, like 4/10 stiff, what are the jeffreys and mango stiffness? I’m looking for like a 5 or 6/10 stiff ski

Mango 100 is pretty stiff but rockered

I rode the Revolt 104s for the last 2 seasons and loved them. Rode the Nomad 95s before and the Revolts were similar but much more stable for jumps and bombing runs.

should probably get some racing skis.

but fr poachers will work for anything you throw at it, a little heavy but manageable. they will also outlast most skis

I skied bent last season and although they are more all mountain skis they still worked well in park. personally perfect flex, stable at high speeds but still butterable. personally they are quite boring/basic but perform rly well. great for both park and all mtn

Take a look into Allplays, they may be too soft for what you need, but so far they’ve taken everything I’ve thrown at them,

I would say all the skis you mentioned will fit your needs well. I would usually go with the ski you can get the best deal on, but assuming cost isn't a factor for you, I would go in favor of build quality. In my opinion, in terms of build quality/durability ON3P>Icelantic>>>>> Atomic = K2. The more independent, handmade brands will last you considerably longer than your average "big brand" ski.

Check out @ misfitskis on insta. We have a new ski dropping friday night, 106mm underfoot, hop on some 184's for a good time. Cant beat it for $450

Not sure what Jet skis are so can't comment on them. I own a set of 187cm J-Skis Masterblaster which are 96mm underfoot and do me for anything I choose to do, inc switch skiing well, and XL park. Great all round ski and fairly stiff with titanium cores, bit more directional than a true parky focused all rounder. Think they've increased the waist this season to 99mm under foot but is still very similar. Also just bought a pair of 184cm ARV96 as the MBs got a bit thrashed in France this season with the lack of snow. Not used them yet, but they are similarly stiff and a little less rockered I would say, more camber under foot and so should be rather nice all rounders as well. They are more centre mounted so if you're doing a lot of park then they'll be great and are somewhat cheaper than J-Skis, particularly if you can get them in a sale like I did for about half price.

I am roughly the same height and weight as you and have put 2 seasons down on my poachers and absolutely love them. I can butter and press without too much difficulty but can also feel stable at speed and take big landings. Hands down one of the best skis I have ever owned! Also they're durable as hell which surprised and impressed me.
