let me know what combo you like

Word thats what I thought, how tall are you? Im sure many people would like to use you as reference.

Dude common, just wear whatever you want, or change it up, who gives a shit as long as you likeit. What are you trying to win a fashion show? Just go out and ski

Just read that you're going to send the rest back. Changes everything a little, thought you had all of those. Wouldn't go larger than xl, but thats me.

thats amasing, you bought all that saga to try it on?

IMO I'd get the very last one, i reckon the fit looks better, cheers for the reference too, im also about 6'2/6'3 150 and have no idea how saga would fit on me

Haha, you insult his intelligence, and then you use where, rather than wear. You are much more intelligent.

Why would you order a bunch of saga fatigue pieces instead of just ordering one or two anomie jackets/pants? Maybe the fatigue looks a little bit cooler (I don't personally think so), but the quality of the anomie material is far superior, being 20k, 2L, and having fully taped zips. That's just my opinion, but I live in the PNW so anything 10k waterproof will get wet and is therefore out of the question for me.

The fact that you dressed up inside means you're a stupid noob gaper pussy so it doesn't matter what you wear because your style probably sucks anyways.

Seriously bought it all to try it on? That's kind of low. Then taking it out to Killington to try it out? Even lower. Like seriously, basically taking $$$ away from Saga because I doubt they're going to be selling off a bunch of used shit as new, they're better than that... Personally I know I'd be pissed if I found out I was buying some jacket that a kid had taken for probably a whole day, and I thought it was new, but instead some kid was in getting all sweaty. Skiing doesn't need to be a fashion show. Buy what you like and stop giving a fuck what other people think...

Inb4 Saga...

Yeah and your role in life is to make your self look better by calling other people out of the internet and trying to make name for youself on a damn website. Congratulations and I wasn't asking for your input.

Haha nice comeback pal!

i didnt take it to try it out... I picked what i was gunna keep and wore it skiing. The rest went back. How is that any worse than trying clothes on in a store. They made 7% of the purchase price off of me and they are getting all of the gear back brand new and unworn.

good try though

Oh no, I bet you are way to cool and have never followed or trend or claimed something your proud of.

To everyone being an asshole; Sorry for trying to make an informed decision on what gear I want to spend the money I worked hard to earn this summer.

That is all...

Yeah dude, I'm trying to be super trendy. The fact that I am lanky and have trouble finding clothes that fit well, or that I have been wearing fitted gear all my life, or that i don't want to look like a sagged out goon when I'm not in the park has nothing to do with it.

Without your insight, I would never have come to realize that I am just another sheep in the flock,

Thank you

Yup, didn't take it to try it out at all... Clearly if you hated it after a day of skiing you would just swap it out for something else off your clothing rack of Saga. And yeah, it's different then trying it on at a store. Do you think sport chek is going to let me take a big pile of clothes home for a few days so I can try it on? Do you think Ashley Furniture is going to deliver six couches to my living room so I can see what I would like to keep after a week? And do you think shipping in this world is free? I pray to god that Saga makes you pay all of the return shipping costs and fees. It can't be incredibly cheap to ship six pieces of Saga. Saga cannot just send out a clothing rack for every kid on NS so we can try a few pieces on together and see what we like, and then send most of it back on their dime. Money THEY have also worked hard year round to earn.

Next time, view some lookbooks, read some reviews, read some sizing charts, and then PM Saga if you are still unsure. They're some of the best around and are willing to help. We are all different and we all fit weird. Just because you say you're lanky doesn't make you an exception.

i was thinking the same thing. OP, if you made up your mind before making the thread why bother posting? we dont need another saga discussion thread like you suggest, theres already a huge one of those. sweet psuedo claim thread

Word.

Also I have nothing against this OP- not orthodox but if it works for you that's cool. Good idea anyway, and it's cool if you ask for people's opinions but maybe NS isn't the best place as you may have figured out...

i fully intend to pay for the shipping and the restocking fees. How about you worry about you and lets try to keep newschoolers a positive site. We are all fellow skiers here and i really don't see where your hostility is coming from toward me.

Not intending to be hostile at all. In the end I think it's a super silly and selfish decision. Saga is left taking the brunt of the hit from it. Even if you plan to pay the shipping and restocking fee's Saga still has to take a loss because it is still cheaper to ship 2 pieces, as opposed to 6. Money lost nonetheless, and while they are still making a profit, noone can completely operate on a super thin profit margin efficiently...

You could have very easily picked a jacket and pant combo that you liked and ordered it.

It would have made way more sense to do this because you could have returned a single jacket for a larger size if you needed, or a different colour if you wanted, and I'm sure Saga would be glad to help you out here, maybe even free of shipping and restocking fee's. Saga is super helpful like that.

Buying 4 jackets and returning 3 is also a huge hit to their stocking and shipping department, and in turn, other riders. Maybe this guy here:

JAHBRADOR, ordered an identical piece to the one you bought. But because you have a bunch of pieces tied up so you can try them on, guy's like JAHBRADOR are stuck waiting for his 1 jacket. While instead if had you only ordered 1, JAHBRADOR could have been a happy customer, sitting at home stoked with his Saga that is early for the season. Alternativley Saga has a somewhat unhappy customer and he's been let down by them, so he may not be a returning customer. And people like to talk about their bad experiences and let people know. That can really hurt a brand. Luckily JAHBRADOR is a chill guy, and he's told us where he stands on his whole scenario, and it's a good outlook.

Like I said, I'm not trying to piss you off, make you angry, or offend you. Merely trying to help people see that some their decisions can be irrational and really end up taking away from the industry. No hate.

Just came over this thread. Are you sagging the Fatigue pants in the pictures? Not sure what size i'm gonna choose...
