Well im gettin my own car in a week er so cus i get my license back but i really dont even know what i want yet

I want an suv ish car or something like an outback

I was considering a jeep but since every other person i know has one im gonna turn that down but please help me out I dont know shit about cars

I was also even thinking about a wrx maybe?

i really dont know but i have to make a good decision soon?

any feed back on some good whips would be most appreciated

used but if its under like 17 new its good but i doubt anything else other than a vdub will be 17 new for an suv

another reason not to get a jeep is the low gas mileage. i have one and love it cus its really easy to drive, but 15 mpg sucks a whole in your pocket

I got a Volvo S60. That car is made by the gods. It doesn't even need a ski rack, it has that thing in the backseat armrest you can put your skis through. I'm 6'5 and I fit into the car so comfy too, or go with a Subaru Impreza or WRX.

My buddy has an 03 xterra supercharged. He loves it. Pretty nice interior and I found it just as nice as my families old 01 pathfinder SE. Better offroad cause its built on the older pathfinder chassis. Just put on 33s and is going to get a lift kit this spring/summer. Its better on gas than I thought, but you do have to put premium in. I think it gets around 18-20mpg combined.

I've got an 02 wrx wagon and like it. Not great on gas either, 20ish mpg, but it rips and the awd is great in the rain and getting up to the mountains. I have an STi suspension in it right now and find it a bit much for everyday driving. Wouldn't do that again. I'll probably replace it with a newer legacy wagon soon cause I need a bigger/nicer car to drive clients around for work.

One car I've been looking at is A Mazda6 s wagon. It's just as big as an Outback, it's got 220 horsepower and supposedly drives like a car should. The only thing that sucks is that you can't get it with awd but it's light and has fwd so it's probably fine on snow and ice, just not so good if you've got to go offroad. Another car I really like, that hasn't been much of a hit so it depreciates pretty fast even though it's a great car, is the Ford Freestyle. It's got lots of clearence, awd, 203 horsepower, better mileage than an SUV, and it's a foot longer than an Outback with seating for 7. In fact the more I write about it the more I wonder why I haven't bought one yet.

ok well i narrowed it down to

the ford freestlye, wrx ti wagon, impreza wagon, frontier, or the titan

whats the diff betwen the wrx ti and the impreza?

and any more feedback on the freestyle would be great cus it really caught my eye

and do the crew cabs on the nissans usualy cost alot more? cus i need to fit some bitches in the back

thanks for all the feedback

its a STI not a TI, and there isnt a STI version of the wagon.

The freestyle is nice. decent room, good mpg for what it is, awd. its domestic so repairs are cheaper. People are gonna say ford sucks, and take that w/ a grain of salt. Everybody has had different differences with different cars.

If you want a jeep but dont wanna be like everyone else, you should get my buddies 5.9L grand cherokee with heads and a cam, runs a high 12sec 1/4 mile, awd and can take it anywhere.

Hopefully something small so when you hit somebody while your driving drunk you wont kill them.

yeah that way only ill die

ok so what is the beter truck

frontier or the titan or the tacoma

but the wrx wagon and freestyle still sound dope but i hear that the wrx doesnt get the best mpg

is it gonna be hard finding these cars used under 15 gs?

the titan and tacomas are in a different league than the frontier. also the titan is a larger truck, more compareable to the toyota tundra. but i say toyotas over nissans any day of the week. they run forever, look good, and are very reliable.

I have a WRX 2005, it is sweet. the gas milage is good, but I have to fill it with premium so that kinda puts a damper on it.

My buddy just got a 2004 WRX w/ exaust, tint, and a sub(don't know what kind)

Anyways, They are really sick, mob the snow, and are sexy. For skiing I would probobly suggest the wagon. I don't have a wagon, but they are ill to the max.

Volvos and VWs are sweet too, the AWD ones.

How so. The Frontier and the Tacoma are both midsize trucks whereas the Titan is a full size truck. The Tacoma and Frontier are very compatible but personally I'd go with the Frontier. It has 30 more hp and is just one spot under the Tacoma in Consumer Report's reliability rating for trucks, that's third overall. Also in an Edmunds test with those two trucks they said overall the Frontier is better. Everybody just jumps on the Toyota bandwagon but in this case I really do think the Frontier is a better truck, in fact I'm planning on buying one this summer. Another point is that Toyota's don't depreciate as fast as Nissans so you can get an Frontier that is newer with more options and less miles that a comparibly priced Tacoma. This makes a huge difference in the current market because I guarantee you won't find one of the newer model Tacomas with 4 wheel drive for under $15K but you will be able to find one of the new Frontiers. The New Frontier is much better thatn the old Tacoma. So I hope that helps, I've been looking at buying a new truck for the last year so I've done tons of research and I really like the Frontier better.

my rents trans broke at about 100 thous. it was fuckin weird in that the trans looked like it had broke from the inside out. thats only one ive herd of. go test 1 and see if u like the feel.

the wrx is a 230 hp turbo 4 cyl while the sti has a huge turbo that pumps out like 300hp. it also comes with really ugly body peices and multiple pointless wings and spoilers. i wouldnt look at sti's unless u have $25-35 k......theyre expensive. even a wrx is $25k new.......$18 k used with like 40k miles on it.

Volvo

see if you can find an 05 S4 or a V5 off a hefty demo

VW's are pretty ill too, I really like my jetta, it kicks all my buddies cars asses its an inline-5 like the volvos, there real quick off the line
