Help Me Out...

Hey NS

I just made this earlier today with about an hour of footage. I wanna know what you guys think about the editing and if you have any suggestions? I tried to base the effects around the music kinda with that sketchy, techy feeling if you know what I mean. I used Sony Vegas Pro 9 for what its worth:

I hear ya on trying to match effects with the music, but imho you used the blue squiggly, like tv is not getting good signal effect too much. it was on beat every time, just too many times.

not bad, I wouldnt suggest using that effect that many times, usually an effect as unique and that stands out that much you should only use a couple times, or just in the beginning. I'd suggest using cuts to the beat, or even changing from blank & white back to color. Just try to explore more effects, just remember Keep It Simple Stupid haha, if you watch edits from a lot of the better filmers you see how basic most of their edits are, they just have great composition, framing, and unique angles with good flow. keep up the hard work

I watched for about a min and stopped due to the overuse of that broken tv effect. Don't overuse effects and especially don't use them for every transition.

ya normaly i wouldnt use it at all but i though it matched the music alright. but i cans ee what you mean about to much
