Help Me Out

So I'm 14 and looking to buy some new skis. But I need some help. I live in Alaska and have been skiing since I was 2, I'm a pretty good skier nothing special though. I ski 40 days plus so I'm gunna get some use I just need your help on what ski to get. I want to progress in the powder which we get a lot much more than park. But I want a ski that will help me progress in park over time, but that wont slow me down in powder and help me shred some pillows and trees.

I was thinking 'bents?

Line Blend's

Obsethed.

I want your opinion.

i know that you really want that perfect ski, but to be quite frank with you, there is no ski that will do exactly that.

you're gonna want a fatter ski if you want to progress in pow, but that will (most likely) slow down your park progression.

i know that this is a hard thing to say, but i think you should look into investing in two pairs of skis. you can get on pair of pow skis (bents, bacons, bentchetlers, eps, etc) and one pair of park skis (afterbangs, ar6s, s3s).

also, it's not a big deal to get last years' stuff, you can slay just as hard on it, but it'll save you some major bucks. maybe even look into getting a used pair or two!

anyway, sorry to tell you, but i think that's what's best for your progression's sake.

hmm...

i think you should definitely look into the K2 line, particularly the ObSetheds and Bents. I've heard great things about both all mountain-wise, but ive heard that the Hellbents are actually a very fun and playful park ski. Both skis are rockered, so that isn't an issue... This is hard!!

So, now it's up to you how soft you like your skis. I feel that the Hellbents would be a tidbit better just because of your location in AK. But for the groomers the ObSetheds would work better, as they are slightly stiffer. So it's up to you my man. But in my mind...

Pow + AK = HELLBENTS

Well, for me bents are out of the picture, but I don't know what to get Blends or Seth's? I feel like the seths will tear shit up in powder but maybe a little heavy for park, and blends I have heard they're not a bad ski in powder, and very fun in park so I'm still trying to decide.
