168 definitely, tm's ski short and center mounting them makes them ski a lot shorter and if you're growing the 161's will be history in a year, go 168, you'll be happy
 
Roger that on the 168. Center mount those suckers and ride a couple of days on them and you wouldn't even notice a difference.
 
thanks to all. its actily for my bud who doesnt go on NS! :O.. but he may not have much growing left in him would the 168's be fine if he didnt grow much more
 
yea definitely the 168s. anything in the 160ish range becomes short real quick. even my 171s became way to short just over the summer when i got back on them in the fall/winter. you should be happy with the TM's
 
i would do 2cm back so u have a little more control and also if u grow more u still have that 2 more cm upfront but thats just me hope that helped
 
haha wrong mike. if you get bigger boots, the heel piece adjusts back and the toe stays the same, meaning you are even farther back than you want. im like 1 or 2 cm back on my invaders because i got new boots that were alot bigger
