Help me out can't turn my phone on

Hey so I just got this new phone and it looks sick and super stealth. However I just can't seem to figure out how to turn it on so if anyone can give me some advice that would be great. Just tried this but it also seems that I can't get it to turn off so binding know what to do. It sucks too because the verizon store isn't open tomorrow cause of those damn Christians so I have to wait until Saturday.

This a also seems to not be workinformed but maybe I'm not throwing it hard enough or throwing it to hard. How hard would you recommend throwing and will I have to throw it multiple times. Good news is when I threw it it didn't break.
