Help me find the perfect jacket.

So i have been looking to step up to a more technical gore-tex hardshell type jacket. Ideally, i'd get the Patagonia Untracked jacket but it is a little out of my price range. Im looking for the $300 range. I want a longer fit but still slim and simple.

Any Ideas or advice?
 
Check out backcountry.com and evo.com for Black Friday deals this week. Last year I picked up a $400 Outdoor Research (Gore-tex Pro) shell for under $100.

If you're looking for a shell, I picked up The North Face Tight Ship jacket on Backcountry for $199 (with 20% off coupon). It's sick and very well made, and has a slightly longer but slim fit.
