there are plenty of skis out there to choose from, but i have a pair of ar7s and they ski pretty damn well on the groomers. Search around on the google machine for a cheap pair of this years that are on clarence
afterbangs if you looking for a cheap first ski, or halos/ar7's depending on how much your planning on dropping on them. make sure you get them center mounted, dont buy solomon skis whatever you do.
Agreed with these guys for sure. I'm in the same position as you, just ordered my AR7's from an end of season sale. Enless you're gonna be skiing purely park, i'd mount them at -2.5 from what i've heard. It'll make them carve far better on the groomers and you wont be able to notice the difference in swing weight. I'll be mounting mine at -2.5
well ive got a pair of K2 revivals, and theyve been super fun. you can take those fuckers pretty much anywhere on the mountain, and theyre super fun in the park.
i reccomend buying used for your first park ski. then when you know what what you want in a ski,i.e stiff, flexy, ect. then you sould buy new. so you don't drop 5-600 dollars on skis that don' fit your style
