i am using pandora, not having much luck. here are a few songs i am into right now

the doors- the end

t-rex- children of the revolution

t-rex country baby

hendrix-1983 a merman i should turn to be

dire straits-sultans of swing

dire straits- water of love

glass harp- can you see me

cream- sunshine of your love
 
Deep Purple you will enjoy, not just "Smoke on The Water" though...they have MUCH better stuff then that.
 
Can you be more specific with what type of rock you want to listen too? Do you want similar stuff to what you have listed, or do you want something totally different?
 
im really liking the sound of t-rex right now, also hendrix, doors, 60's heavy rock is what im really into right now.

and to swirly i said here are a "few" songs im into right now
 
well also by t.rex 20th century boy and bang a gong are awesome. Maybe try the Who, Rush, the kinks, the guess who, dire straits.

That definetly isn't all 60's hard rock but i guess its worth a shot.
 
a really wicked song by Hendrix, Valleys of Neptunes. It is just amazing. Um OAR, REM, Pearl Jam, THE GRATEFUL DEAD, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Genesis, Muse, Neil Young, the police, here are a few artists that you might like. Sooooo much rock though, it's a vague request you have there.

The Who, at first, sounds to hard, but if you get used to them, they will blow your mind off. Try Won't get fooled again or Baba O'reilly

murder city devils, tiger army, smashing pumpkins, the giraffes, drive by truckers, the ghost, and mewithoutyou are good too
 
i enjoy a bit of iron maden, linkin park, steppenwolf and the odd little bits of other bans n singers here and there

the yardbirds are good, and CCR,check out peter framptons live stuff, and there are tons of one hit wonders, the zombies, the guess who, the who, grand funk railroad, and van morrison are all good
