Help me find a book

I can't remember the title, all i remember (and i'm not even sure on this) is that it might have something to do with time travel and it may have been presented in installments. all in one book though, it's like first there's a part in one time, and then the next par tis in another. it's apparently pretty famous and the name was something weird. apparently lots of people read it too. might be a longshot but worth that shot.
 
Timeline, by Michael Crichton. It is now a movie as well. I read the book (excellent) but have not seen the movie.
 
nope it's not timeline.

i know my description sucks. I saw the book and read a bit about it and thought it sounded interesting. why i didn't write the name down is beyond me.
 
i looked at the wiki one before i made the thread actually and i don't think it was on that other one. i'm sick as fuck and i was gonna try and find this book but i can't remember! i'll just keep googling till it comes up eventually.
 
ok, i was definitely on another forum and i asked about it a few weeks ago which means i read about it on another forum (may or may not be the same ones) so i'll look into that.

otherwise, i think it might not have been time travel, but two different stories going on at once maybe. definitely science fiction though, might have time travel as well but the two different stories thing is key i think.
