so im around 5'10 165lbs, im buying new skis this year cuz my marksmans are too short and i want something lighter. im stuck between vishnu wides, wide plus, and surface uppers. ik there's a lot of vishnu hype, that's not why i want them, they seem like a fun ski. i ski wisconsin and michigan hills and want to do about 60/40 park and all mountain (trees, some powder, not much groomers). advice?

183 or 189 wide. Size up typically on Vs. don’t think you have anything out there that warrants a plus.

think the wide is a better fit then the uppers?

I've never rode the uppers but I have a pair of wides. If your spending more time in the park I'd buy a ski for that, and for all-mtn; I ride the wides out west all day, sure there are better all-mtn skis, but they are just not as fun as the wides. But out in MI (thinking like boyne) you don't really have demanding all-mtn that requires something stiffer than a wide.
