Okay guys i want to get "believe" tat'd on me

the debate!

wrist or ankle I LIK E the idea of wrist more but i need a way to hide it from the rents... i dont know how cool with it they wuld be

the ankle is easier to hide from everyone.

it would go on the inside of my right wirst. right where the watchband kinda sits. Of course id move it but i think that wuld let me hide it a lil bit...

yea you shouldnt do it, if you dont really know what you want you shouldnt get one. its like sex you will know when the time is right. for a tattoo that is
 
if your not a girl then the ankle is out. What ever happened to just getting it on the upper arm and having you sleave over it
 
i dont wear shirts a lot...

im thinkin the ankle. this tattoo isnt for other ppl its for me. ive gone through some hard times this year and i really want to have ti to remind me to believe. like its a personal thing not to flash around. The ankle i think is going to win, because its easier to hide for the rest of my life, but i can see it anytime i want. just gotta cross my legs by puttin my foot on my other thigh. like i do all the time.
 
get it in your fuckin armpit. then when you want to see it you can just shave your arm pit and then within a few days the hair will grow enough to hide it.
 
yea cept my rents wuldnt be to keen aswell as when im older and working it wuld be a pain. ankle i can always have to look at easily but no risk of not gettin jobs cuz of it
 
what about on one side of you back. Like underneat your arm pit but on your back so its almost on your side but on your back also ?
 
i'd say either way you're going to be gay. if you can't remember back to a tough year in your life without a tattoo you have a terrible memory. you'll probably forget you even ave a tattoo on your ankel. sounds like a bad idea. i would definately say you should get "fucking tool" tat'd on your neck, if you don't have the funds 'tool' will do.
 
its to commemorate getting thru everything. So that you never forget the past. and yes i do have a terrible memory.
 
16, but i had a lot of shit happen this year.. i barley pulled through hell i still dont know if i will so this is somethign for me. to give me something just for me for my benefit
 
Alright man, if I was you, I'd go for the ankle, and all you people who are giving him shit...stop. Tattoos are personal, if he wants it, let him get it, it's not your body so don't worry about it, that being said...make sure you get it done right by a good artist who is professional, or you will regret it.
 
unless you're financially secure and have no need to find a job, ever, then you can get it wherever. realistically speaking, most professionals nowadays won't hire someone with tattoos visible. maybe that will change.

and tattoos about periods in life are most often the ones regretted.if it has to be about that, then make the meaning relevant to what came to pass because of it.
 
This thread is funny as hell...first of all you are 16. I dont know a single good tattoo artist that will tattoo someone under the legal age of 18. Its not worth them losing their license to tattoo a little thing on your arm. With that said you dont want to go to someone who isnt going to do quality work in a sterile environment. Being 16 and getting inked means you are doing it illegally...thus the person doing it is unregulated and is probably doing it that way for a reason, ie they arent good enough to work in a real shop or lost a license. You dont want to risk having a bunch of needles rammed into your arm by a guy who probably doesnt have an autoclave to sterilize anything. Save yourself from getting some nasty disease that will give you many more memories than a little tiny tattoo.

As for all the kids saying dont get something on your arm cause you wont ever have a real job. I have a full sleeve and am a nuclear engineer, my fiance has a sleeve and is working on a second and she is a software engineer with IBM, my buddy is a lawyer has more tattoos than I can count, my artist is a high school teacher, many of my best friends have tons of tattoos and real careers. Today a company is going to hire the person who is best for the job because its a business and if I can make them more money, do the job in less time or whatever they arent going to care if I have ink in my arm. I walk around with short sleeves at work everyday, some of my friends are the same and some wear long sleeves. Unless you get something on your hands or throat you can hide it so dont worry about something on your wrist.
 
1-if you get it on the ankle you can't wear short pants anymore.

2-you're 16, your skin is streching and the tatto will get screwed

3-get a nosering instead, that you can take off

4-this thread really is funny as hell

5-real buissnes men don't give a shit if you have tattos.

6-If someone really dosn't hire you because of a tatto, it is for the best, beacause that man is probably a asshole.
 
yea dont get it, i have a friend who got that exact same thing on his wrist and its not as cool as you think it woudl be, and plus everone can see it and alot of places wont hire you. i saw nay
 
why dont you get it on your back somewhere its hidden by your shirt no matter what or maybe somewhere over your chest... try to get it somewhere where the skin doesnt change much that way it will be with you forever and you wont have to get a cover over it or anything
 
first of all in canada there is no legal age. second of all i have a fake id that im gona use nyways.

i am going to the best place in toronto im not completly stupid. Im going with ankle right where my sock will just cover it. if i pull it up a bit.

ankles hurt really bad and if this tattoo means that much to you like all of mine do to me you should not be afraid to show it, but i would suggest getting it up your side, i think that looks sick.
 
yeah but thats j-crew. they dont even make clothes in dark colors of course thier not gonna hire someone with a tattoo, it doesnt fit thier company image. real business, like in an office, does not care if you have tattoo's unless they are on your hands or neck
 
i can bet you are going to go through harder times at 16 you have just started life and there are going to be lots of ups and downs. are you going to get a tat every time you feel a little depressed. dont get trust me not onely will you regret the ink in your body when your old but all that tat will do is remind you of troubled times. the glass is half full, not half empty...
 
I just got my first one and its on the inside of my upper arm. Very easy to conceal if I want to, but at the same time easy to have out in the open.
