Help me decide please!!

So my ipod broke saturday morning. i am getting a new mp3 player, but i cant decide between the new zunes or the new ipods. the new zunes are sweet this time around.

My options: 8 gig nano/8 gig zune version

80 gig classic/80 gig new zune

Pros of each option:

nano-easier to ski with, swap out music so i never get tired of my music, fill it randomly

80 gig-put all my music in one place, dont need to choose what goes on my ipod

cons of each option:

nano-choosing what to put on my ipod is gonna be a bitch, since i like sooo many different kinds of music

80 gig-bitch to ski with, if i fall on it, it will definitely break, kinda big to ski with

help me choose!!!

I keep waffleing back and forth from each scenario, and I can't choose!

i have the new nano its fuckin ballin. sickest shit ever, holds 2000 songs, its incredibly small and bombproof

How much do you like music? Now that I have my 30 gig there's no way i could imagien having a nano again. Price might make a difference too. And from my expierience, no-go on the zune.

my experience says go smaller cuz the 80 is pretty beef. it may not seem like it but when u hafta get tech on rails n shit, u will notice it. i also have the same problem as u. i like lots of music. i listen to country, but theres no way in fuck id listen to it when im skiing. it jus dont work. but thats jus me. i only listen to music thats "good to ski with" not jus all the music i would listen to at any time. that might have been a lil confusing.

i have 35 gigs of music on my computer, but i dont know if i want the 80 gig, the nano is soo much easier for skiing/skating it seems, and do both a lot

I think if ur just using the nano for skiing and don't listen to it all the time, ur not gonna need all ur music on it ne way

The ipod that broke was the old color 20gig, so most of my music was still on my comp not on my ipod, even though it was full, but i would use my nano all the time, not just for skiing, but i like how small it is, i also like the 80 gig capacity, but in the summer i skate a lot too, so right now the nano looks like the better idea

Go smaller, less open space and moving parts inside, less to freeze. I live in MT, and my old full size Ipod would always freeze.

get the nano for skiing, it has no hard disk like the larger ipod which is likely to get fucked up when skiing, plus its easier to fit in a pocket, 8gb is enough to bring skiiing anyway.

My "quiver" is a 30 gig and a shuffle. It's sick cuz I can have all my music on the 30 gig and ski with the shuffle which is indestructible and super small/light. Although I got the shuffle for free, not sure you can justify buying two ipods... but maybe buy a 80 gig then some cheap shuffle-ish device for skiing? Or buy an older 30 or 60 gig if you can find those for cheaper and use the extra money for a shuffle. seriously I always though I'd hate shuffles so I refused to get one but when I got this one for free I figured I might as well try it and they are sick.
