Help me decide my 09 summer

Okay. Here is the deal. I'm 15 but I will be 16 in May and so my choices are...

#1- Play soccer with the team I have been playing with for 6 years and have made a lot of friends with. Work 4-5 days a week for 6 hour shifts making minimum wage which will be $9.50 in Canada during the 2009 summer for me. I'd work about 6 weeks, putting me at about 1200 or 1300 bucks? Factor in I'll get some weekends at my cottage, chill time with friends, sleep in from time to time, and get a wicked employee discount at this store near my house that my family and I buy skis, clothes, bikes, shoes, jackets, you name it, it's a dope store (no not walmart). Anyways those are the factors I can remember for option one.

#2- Go to camp and be an LIT (counselour in training bascially) in August for 5 weeks. One week of canoe trip in Algonquin park in Ontario, with my friends (girls and guys). Then back to camp and waking up at like 7:00 am every morning, looking after young kids during the day and working at activities (hopefully sailing which I love and canoeing or something). Then at night chill times with friends I hope and then repeat until about the end of summer. I would have July off but I would not be able to play soccer cause I play at a high level and can't miss that much time.

Costs involved : Soccer = approximately $1000-1200 dollars which my parents pay.

Camp = Like $3700 which my parents would pay.

I know these seems like an obvious choice but camp is like my most relaxed, favourite time during the whole year like there is not a care in the world and no parents no siblings and this would be my 7th summer returning.

CONVINCE ME PLEASE! I HAVE TO DECIDE WITHIN THE NEXT 2-3 DAYS!!!!

This is the hardest decision I have had yet throughout my 16 year life.

go to camp then come back and get the job. fuck soccer i hated that so much. unless your in love with it like one of my friends

I play soccer and wouldnt give it up for that camp, but thats just me--its too important to me getting a scholarship etc.

ps i heard sporting life are dicks.. ive heard but man ive put up with worse shit than sporting life staff you can trust on that. my little borther is prbly worse than those guys.

Do you go to pathfinder by any chance, haha i went there for like a week when i was pretty young and its in Algonquin park. I cant decide for you but i would probably stay at home make some money and chill with friends.

man, go to camp.

i did my LIT training ( i went to camp wanapitei in temagami) and my biggest regret is not leading. I mean i could go back now, but it would be a very large inconvenience in my life. you have been playing soccer for 6 years.

Camp has always been some of the fondest memories for me, especially my LIT summer. it was amazing and so unbelievably fun. you should take your parents up on this offer while you can because you will only be able to do it for so long.

so, if you didn't get my point, go to camp. its chill, stress free and you are with friends and good company as well as the experience of a life time. only a certain amount of kids will be able to do a camp liek you and i were able to do and it is something you will remember for ever.

fucking love temagami. been there twice on trip. ive passed wanaperti or wtv the fuck it is both times and the people there were so friendly. some people swimming (oddly really far out) were like hey where u from and chatted us up. fucking world gets smaller eveyrday.

oh man I wish i was 15 to go in those sick camp

socccer suck man, and you can play it for the rest of your life

GO TO CAMP

camp no doubt man

your young, money isnt a big deal, you have the rest of your life to work but probably not many more summers to have tons of fun at this camp.

that being said, if your super into soccer and want to go somewhere with it you should probably stick to that.

dude, temagami is amazing. its like the most beautiful part of ontario and believe me i have seen all of ontario where people live and where they don't live. on a sunny day, you will be amazed at what you see

yes thats me.

it was terrifying.

depends on what soccer league you are in. if your in the national youth development league then choose soccer cause you could get scholarships for it. If not then go to camp

dude go have fun, your 15-16..money is important but having fun memories are much more important.. especially if your parents are still paying for them. If you think you would have more fun at camp, go there. If you think you'll have more fun at soccer, go play soccer.
