Help me convince my parents

ok, so i have been wanting to get a new cam for a while now, and i havent spent any money all summer so i would have enough to get my cam. but now, everytime i find a good deal on it, like ebay or something, my parents say, "does it come with a warranty?" and barely anything from ebay comes with a warranty. i want to get the vx2000, so not many places have it for sale at a good price. so how can i convince them to get over the fact that it doesnt have a warranty?

yeah i know but theyre always like, well it doesnt matter how much cheaper it is, because then you ll end up be paying all that money back with repairs. do u guys know of any store that even sells the vx2000?

Try to convince them that ebay has actual stores, they're not just private sellers, they're reliable.

its not that, its just more of the not having a warranty part.

well, you can sell it broken for parts on ebay, and still get a lot of money for it, so even if it breaks, its still not completly worthless. tell that to your parents. unless it smashes. then your screwed.
