Help me connect to xbox live

i tried to like a week agoand it wasnt finding my wireless internet so we used a cord and it was still not working, anyone know why? or what i can do to connect it?
 
How is your network configured? Go to the dashboard and go to console -> network setting. It should be on automatic, and run a network test. Based on what it tells you can usually figure out the problem. If it doesn't pass any test, check the wire and make sure it works. Otherwise you might have to get an IP and gateway from whoever setup the network and enter it manually
 
you toltalllly just said what i was about to, fuck around with them too their all forgein and they still help you
