Help me choose the better Photo

i like the 1st one the best

the 2nd looks too artificially yellow IMO and the 3rd looks too underexposed

cool shot tho!

def first one

2nd one has to much editing of colors makes it look not natural and turns the water too distracting

3rd one looks as if you darkened the rock too much it would work if the water was darker but there is too much difference between the brightness of the water and the rock around it

maybe in the future try to use a little bit faster shutter speed so the water doesnt get whited out like it did in a couple spots, the streaks will be defined better in the water and the rest of the photo will be in better focus with it being a little faster. but overall nice pictures

The first. The second one is to yellow and the third one the water isnt really working. That being said, I like the rocks the most in the third one.

I'm going to go like this:

3rd one

1st one

2nd one

I actually like the contrast between the light and dark in the third one. This first one is still very good. I think the second one is too yellow.

I'd go with the first one. It looks the most natural. The second has a bit too much yellow, and the last one is too dark.

the delete button

these are just the same photo with different processing

I would re-shoot this If I were you and really think about your composition. Play around with it and try out a bunch of different angles. Also pay close attention to everything that is in the frame.

Also really think about the effect you want to get with the final photo.

Do you want the whole moving water thing going on? you might want to either stop the water motion so you can see it splashing over the rocks. or a longer exposure to really show the flowing water. right now your kinda in the middle and its not really working.

Think about the way you want the colors to look before you take the photo, then go at the time of day and use the white balance that will get you those colors.

definitely the first one dude.... i love the long exposure water shots tho, nice pic
but i agree with the guy above me, take more shots instead of just processing them differently. youll have more options

last one. But whats the optimal shutter speed for shooting during the day when you are trying a get this kind of effect with the water without it coming out to over exposed

its tough to call dude, ive taken a lot of shots like this and obviously the lighting makes a difference. you just have to try a bunch of different speeds, thats y he has to take more shots instead of just taking one and adjusting the levels differently
