Help me choose a ski

I've been struggling for a while to find skis that will suit my skiing type. After a long time searching, I found a handful of skis that will do what i want them to. (side note: these skis will spend 80 to 90 percent of their life in the park) The problem now is to choose one i like. I'm pretty short on money so im not looking to invest more than like 500 ish on skis at the moment.

I mean what kinda profile are you looking for? Rocker camber? And are you looking for something more stiff or softer?

im looking for a ski in the medium flex rocker camber rocker that is versatile enough to utilize the whole park

K2 poachers would be an option for the rocker you seem to be looking for, but they're on the stiffier side. Also maybe the new reckoners from this year. Heard they are a bit softer so could be a solid option.

I've got arv96s and even though i love them they have more of a full camber profile so it might not be what you're into.

Word so out of that list the bdog and the Vishnu are going to be a little softer. I have ridden the wets they are soft and playful. I have not ridden the wet plus and have a pair of this year's on the way. The arv 96 is going to be a little stiffer and 2mm wider then bdogs but similar profile. My buddy who doesn't ski park broke a pair of rippah like 3rd day on um so not there best park ski. The poacher isn't on ur list but will be very similar to arv just maybe a little stiffer. The edollo Profile is rocker camber and 98mm underfoot. If I where you I'd shop poacher, bdog and Vishnu plus and which ever you can get cheaper snag. If you want a ski that's a little wider like 100mm underfoot I've always been a huge fan of the line blends. Mad flex and the butter zones are mad fun. All are really solid skis and I don't think you will be disappointed.

Yeah ill probably start looking into those cuz im not really a big fan of very stiff skis but my buddy has a pair of poachers and when i tried them they were difficult to butter, but not impossible. The ARV 96 seem super versatile but the sizes throw me off; i'm 5'9 and dont know if i should look for it in 177 or 184. I'll definitely look into the wet plus and bdog cuz they were my first options and i feel like the poacher sells pretty cheap so it might be a steal for a good ski. Thanks!

Also haha i forgot to mention I know the edollos were an exception to my rocker camber rocker wants. I thought they might be a bit better on the jumps than the pluses or bdogs because of the tail but have that fun nose for buttering. Has anyone ridden the edollo and has some thoughts on it comparing to these others?

I've ridden both the edollo and bdog and honestly I like the bdog better. They are both playful but really enjoy the rocker camber rocker profile. And as far as jumps go they felt solid to me. As far as size for the arc I'd go 184. The rocker profile will make it ski shorter. I'm 5'9 and 150lb and ski 181-186. Feels more solid and can really get over it for fun long butters.

Also the poachers will break in they start off pretty stiff with the carbon In the nose and tail. And you can find them for a steal on Evo right now

i say ARV96. 5'9" is like 175cm so the 177 would be great, and they are pretty reasonably priced. great do-it-all park ski with a solidly medium flex. i say poachers if you want above average stiffness

check out fat-ypus, bomber skis and on sale at 390. graphics might not be to everyones taste but i feel like if youre buying skis on graphics youre a fool
