Help me choose a ski.

Hi

I ski in Australia I am 6'0" and 171 pounds. I enjoy skiing in the park and on accassion in the pipe, I also like to try my luck on some rails every so often. I also enjoy just riping around the mountain wether it be on the groomers or the race courses. I like a more playfull flex however I still would like something stiff nought to be able to carve. Please keep in mind that I live in Australia and the few brands after researching that I am able to get without paying 50% of the price again in shipping are Armada, Line, Volkl, liberty and 4frnt.

By some liberty or Volk or 4frnt. Armada you will pay for the name and line skis sucks

Could you be more specific then just telling me to buy that brand.

Line Blends. They are all around amazing. Check them out

The only thing I am worried about with lLine is their durability, I've only seen bad reviews.

most of the bad reviews are on there mastermind and afterbang because they are low end skis. There better ones like SFB, Opus, Influence and Sick Day.

volkl kink

The volkl kink was one of the skis I have been looking at for a while know I am just wondering how well do the ski switch and are they as heavy as some claim?

I've had mine since 2012 and not a single problem....

how about atomic infamous? poppy, still pretty flexy, good carving abilities and light-ish ski. it's a symmetric twin so switch carving is easy too. and i think they are pretty cheap too but i've experienced atomic to have a good durability.

Yeah the blends would not be the choice for him at all. For a skier who focuses on park, pipe, and groomers, you don't want a fatter rockered noodle.

From those brands, I would suggest the Armada PC, 4frnt switchblade, or the line Future spin. All three skis have a flex that is playful but still carveable, like OP specified. They will slay the park and pipe, but still carve well on groomers.

Haha sounds good.

Aren't the Armada PC skis marketed as a pipe specific ski because if so that won't help me improve my rail game.

They are pretty much the exact same ski as the AR7 just with a race base and a slightly softer flex. In my opinion they are the best park ski that Armada makes. Your rail game would not be compromised.

Ya the PC from Armada is a solid choice, it will be able to hold an edge well, turns well, and is a pretty fast ski as well.

Go to your local ski shop and they should help you out and please stop bumping your thread its not a life threatening issue to everybody on newschoolers
