I just got my license and im looking at getting a car. I was first looking for tercels but they seem far too overpriced so i just looked at all cheap cars in the area and came upon this http://fredericton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-Audi-Audi-90-W0QQAdIdZ123339507 The audi seems like a sick car but i know absolutely nothing about cars so i have come to ask what kind of problems are typical of an audi and what the general costs are of any repairs or if the car is even worth buying. Thanks in advance for any replies a i'll boost your karma up to a ten to be nice too
 
yeah man they are super expensive to repair, and by the looks of your budget it doesnt seem as if you would be able to afford repir costs. If i were you, i would scam rides off friends and borrow my rents cars when i have the chance so that way i could save some money. save up some more cash so that way you can get a more reliable car with minimal fixing/repair expense.
 
a 1988 audi man? dont get it audis are good cars but for the price of that im sure you could find a much newer car that is better. dont go for a car just cuase its an "audi or bmw". especially sicne its ur first car.
 
Buy yourself a Honda. They're relatively cheap to purchase, incredibly reliable, easy as hell to work on, and there is sooooo much support out there it blows my mind. Even if you know nothing about cars, you can probably fix most things on a Honda. Great gas mileage, too. (Unless you completely destroy your gas mileage by soupin' up your motor and driving it with the pedal to the floor all of the time :-))
 
^agreed. honda parts are everywhere, are cheap, and mad people know how to work on hondas.
 
please whatever you do, don't put a 4 foot spoiler on the back, or a coffee can for a muffler.
 
haha do it - they're awesome cars - just don't get a shitty one and put a wing and fartcan muffler on it and drive it like its a race car.

I kid with the rice burner, and for whoever suggested to bum rides and use parents car, none of my friends have their license or a car and my moms boyfriend wont let me drive her car so im shit out of luck unless i can get a car
 
i have a 98 subaru legacy station wagon....150000 miles on it and it purrs like a kitten. look into some older model subarus and please dont spend like 14000 on a wrx
 
yah i did say that, and because theyre super cheap with gas and fixing it wouldnt be too expensive for me and toyotas are outrageously reliable too
