Help make a tough decision.

So my friends and I started up a little clothing company called butterstick. Originally it was just our youtube channel name but our youtube grew so fast and we were always looking to make a clothing company so we just took the youtube channel name BUTTERSTICKINC and turned it into our clothing line name. Its very original and everything but is it catchy enough? and what do you guys think of name its self?

I am kinda torn between a new name and keeping butterstick because i have built butterstick up alot in the past year but i just cant see the name Butterstick getting big. A name that i thought of was FRESHLYCUT COLLECTIVE. Would that be a better name for a clothing line versus BUTTERSTICK? I am just trying to get your guys input and see.

+ Karma for helping!

ya just keep it as butterstick that sounds dope. A sick idea for a tall tee would be like a butterstick melting and just write inc underneath it, idk haha way harder to explain on the computer than it would be in real life

Just Butterstic.

and then make different designs with melting butter and shit like someone else said

Yeah I'd say keep butterstick, companies need to have a history behind their name and not just something catchy. Lots of companies have names that don't really sound that good but through time they just start to make sense to people and sound right, for example ON3P, subway and Alli. First time you hear those names you kind of go what the hell were the people naming those companies thinking but after a while you start to associate the name with the product and it starts to sound better.

Thats a tight name, holy shit.

You have to incorporate Paula Dean with one of your shirt design's since she's so infamous with cooking with it all the time Hahaha

^exactly waht the guy above me said. Even if butterstick sounds weird, in time as your company grows, people will recognize the name with your product without thinking too much about the name. Take almost any company name and just think of how retarded they sound when you don't associate them to the product or service they're selling.

butterstick, it sounds dope and you could for sure work with it to create some dope logos and tee/hoodie designs.

Butterstick is good without the Inc. But to make your business grow it's not your name it's how you advertise and promote the brand and the kind of clothes and edits you make. Being from the same hills out here in Illinois and Wisconsin it's just getting kids to know your name because the nicer clothes you make it won't really even matter the name. Most kids would just look past it and think those are dope clothes. You just need to promote your brand because thus name is fine

yeah the product or service you offer is much more important then the name. The name should actually be the least of your worries and shouldn't really be a tough decision.

this.

no INC, that sounds kinda homo and definitely does not make me think of a skiers clothing company.

also this isn't really a "tough decision".

butterstick is a weird name, and personally i would not buy a shirt with the words butterstick on it. just me though

i like the name butterstick..

and what the guys said above, it might sound weird now, but when your companys name gets out, people will be able to associate it pretty easily with your clothing and apparel.

think of candygrind.. their name makes no sense.. but when you hear it you think of the swirly lolly pop thing..

stick with butterstick

checked out the site pretty dope. but dont change the name its sick. and you should make a bob marley t-shirt and make it a tall t?

the logo is too close to jiberish, (if i have the right site) especially since you call it the "b-crown", mayb make it like a melting stick of butter or something creative.

here is the web page for people who are to lazy to google it

http://www.butterstickinc.com/

this!
i like the name, and that would be a sick logo i would definitly buy a shirt with a melting stick of butter, and hell that would make one sick sticker!

i would most definitely keep it as just "butterstick". it sounds way better than butterstickinc. the Bcrown logo does look really close to a jcrown, so if your company gets to big there is a possibility that jiberish might sue you. a tall t with a melting stick of butter on it would be dope though, i would definitely buy one.

Keep it butterstick without the inc. Don't change it to anything that limits your company to a single type of product. You may later want to venture out of the clothing and start making other stuff like skateboards etc. and you won't want it to say fresh cut clothes on it right?
Butterstick seems sick i would love to see some designs if you have any?

BUTTERSTICK haha that just sounds like a dope company. dont change it man, nothing will beat that. If you can graffiti at all you should make that a logo or a design. melting butter in letters etc..

good luck man

I actually like the name butterstick, it's different. But what kind of clothing are you planning on selling, whats the style? When i hear butterstick i think of fun, humorous things. Maybe thats not what you want for your company if that isnt congruent with the clothes you are selling.

naa freshlycut just sounds like the name of a generic streetwear brand on one knows about, go with butterstick

For sure butterstick, it simple and easy to catch on with. The other one is bit longger and not as catchy and butterstick is original. Also if you built it up so much why not just keep it? So yea, just keep with butterstick, its pretty steezy too. And you could make a cool logo.

Sick name keep it def. I would say change the logo though. Here is something I just thought up

keep it butterstick, it kinda looks like something a little less apropriate so people would be curious as to what it actually says, and after reading it it sticks in their memory better so... idk butterstick is a sick name though.
