k i know its super lame to come to ns for help with homework... but i really cant figure this out

so please explain how to do this problem to me... im pretty bad at math

I'm supposed to find the maximum volume of a cylinder with the surface area of 32.82894531...what would the radius and height be to get that surface area and still have the larges volume...

thanks for helping +++k

I'd just write down some numbers and say you couldn't figure out how to do it exactly. Go to the teacher for help first thing though.

ive tried that haha but im not getting the right number our teacher told us that it would be much bigger than 11.70140625... thats what i keep getting

k i keep getting that the volume is 18.1193742........... does that sound right? haha and the radius is 1.8118149... cant figure out the height still any help +karma

Good luck man. I've forgotten how to do that stuff since last year. I'll probably remember later in the year when we review it.
