I can't wait until you are out of the safety bubble of your parents home and life smacks you with a problem like what I am seeing Japanese people face on a day to day basis. Then hopefully someone spits some ridiculous compilation of words like you just said to make you feel like shit.
Ivan, you're the man. Thanks for helping out and people here in Japan definitely need it. If you need an outlet for any other type of donations we are going to be taking a group down to Sendai once the mess clears a little bit here.

Altahoe and alden...there's 127.5 million people in Japan, I dont think you can generalise a people in the way you are. Your "cove' argument is flaud. Completely. I've just returned from Japan, and the general population are nothing like Private Space, they are the most generous, polite, respectful to not only other people, but to other animals as well that i have ever met. Sure there are a number who support whaling and so on, but most are applaud.

Ivan's legit. Doesn't post as much in the main forums these days, but he definitely has a solid reptuation and history on NS.

I'm stoked on the poster and the cause.
 
Like I said, I hope when you suffer some tragedy in your life someone laughs at your misfortune and quotes some completely irrelevant movie trailer.
Could you even fathom loosing your entire community? It's a reality for a lot of people in Japan.
 
Ignorant much? Its no different from americans killing cows and pigs for food. Sit the fuck down, kid. Why on earth would you say something like that? People are losing their families, homes and communities while you are sitting back and making ignorant and narrow minded comments like that. I'm sure your opinions would change drastically if you were put into the shoes of one of the suffering tsunami victims right now.
 
Damnit I already donated all my money away and have none left over to get this. Oh well. Sick poster man!!! I'd do it if it was $5 or $10!

To answer some questions in this thread

1. This will be up for another couple weeks or so. I am hoping to raise at least a $1000. At around $450 right now!

2. For people who are not trusting me, I've been around on this website for quite some time, I hope some posts from people in this thread have solidified my reputation. I had my own clothing company a couple years back and have worked on projects with multiple ski companies as well as NS.

3. How much of your donated money will I end up actually donating? Good news! I just got a sponsor who will provide me with free shipping containers(cardboard tubes), so I don't have to purchase any. I am currently talking to a couple print shops who will hopefully print the posters for free as well. So, from what you pay, I donate everything minus shipping cost to your door(which varies). I am based in Toronto. I will also post the final amount that I donate on here & on my website.

4. Every donation that's $45 will get an additional poster of different artwork.

Ivan is nothing but a class act. Lets look at the value in some of the kick-ass artwork that he has done here, and be inspired to help the Japanese people.
 
100% agree. I've been following Ivan's work for awhile (been wanting to grab some of it too) and had been thinking of ways to offer some means of helping Japan. Ivan is a stand up individual.
 
Ivan has been a personal friend of mine for a few years now and I cannot imagine him taking advantage of anyone in any way. Those of us who have been around the site for a few years will know his credibility is strong.

Awesome work Ivan. I'm sure it would cost you more to send the poster to me than what I'd be paying, so I'll have to settle with donating locally.
 
Placing my order tomorrow. Decided this was a better cause than spending 150 bucks on 2 extra days of skiing at my home hill. 45 buck from me, and 45 from my dad, straight to this good cause right here.
 
jebus christ, such a bangin poster for such a worthy cause. i gotta pick one up when i can shell out the cash money, awesome poster and what an effort to help those in need

I'm afraid shipping to Japan will cost around $30-40, so it might not be the best value for your dollar...

Keep it up guys and thanks for the support! So far I've received $600 in donations!!! Once we reach $1000, I will donate the money and start shipping out the posters!
