Hey guys,

I am an artist and a skier who has had a privilege to experience the magnificent country of Japan and its infamous Niseko powder. I fell in love with the country and the people. In effort to help out the citizens of Japan, I setup a donation page where you can purchase a poster I designed. It was inspired by a vacation to Niseko that I went on just a couple months ago.

I will be donating 100% of the profits to Japanse Red Cross Society. I setup 3 different payment amounts: $25, $35 & $45. It does not matter which one you pick, I will be donating 100% of the profits regardless.

Already donated, but I think that you should make a lower amount around $10. Especially if you are promoting this to NS, not a lot of 14 year old kids have $25 to just pocket out. Besides that, its great what you're trying to do.
 
probably another scam, haa but really this is cool that you did that and the picture is sick i will post it on face book as well as hopefully getting one after this next paycheck.
 
I don't think so but you never. know. IF it was he'd get karma raped hard. I think it's a solid effort.

And as far as the price goes. You're getting a poster signed and numbered delivered. That's worth 15 at the least. I've never bought them but the phish pollock posters on lot cost like 45 right there.

Nice posters signs usually go for at least 15, normally 20. It's not like you can't donated a buck or two through some other outlet.

just to let you know OP...its now classified as a 9.0 earthquake, where it says 8.9 on the site. karma to you and hopefully some real life karma to you as well for a good cause.
 
no i know he is legit, but really everyone should watch out i saw a report about alot of people starting up donations and taking the money its fucked, but this is legit and with a sick picture to.
 
Damn man, this is really sick what you're doing. I would donate, I really would! But i'm kinda short on money at the moment and gotta buy some skis this week. And definetly a 10/10 for you!

As soon as I find a friend with either paypal or a visa Im getting it. I feel rather childish being 19 and still no credit card lol. Either way 10/10 for you and stoked at well the poster looks. Cant wait to get it!

35 - shipping for painting =/= full potential of my dollarits better to not exploit stuff like this
 
I feel really sorry for all the people who are going threw hell there. according to CNN the reactor is going to shit and a 30 km radius is being told to stay indoors. reactor 2 had an explosin and a new fire just startted in 4
 
that's a good thing to keep in mind but i think $45 being $42 or so is somewhat negligible, and exploit really isnt the word youre looking for

anyway just grabbed one, feel sort of selfish getting a poster out of it but it's a really sick piece of art so what the hell..keep up the good work OP good stuff
 
I highly encourage donations directly to the charities and in that sense I agree with you that the dollar is not used to its full potential. My intentions are as far removed from exploiting this tragedy. I think I can make more of a difference with this approach rather than with simply posting a topic on NS with a donate button.

By the way, I will start shipping the posters in a couple weeks only. I want to get as many donations(which I will be transferring weekly), so that I can find ways to cut the price on printing and hopefully shipping and packaging.

damn just donated to the Red Cross , but you are the fucking man dude! Always been a fan of your work and this just makes your efforts on this site that much more legit!
