HELP ITUNES

i installed the new itunes and now my sound is all messed up... making a feedback ish type noise,,, u know like when u run audio through a crappy tape deck...

HELP ME FIX THIS plllleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase

whoever finds the solution will be mailed an assload of stickers!
 
you need to go to start, and shut off computer instead of restarting

leave it off for more than 10 seconds, then turn it back on

gimme my stickers please
 
try this, it may haelp

1. Exit iTunes

2. In Windows click on Start - Control Panel - QuickTime

3. For QuickTime 7, click on the Audio tab. Under Devices, click to select Safe mode (waveOut only) and click on Apply.

4. For earlier versions, click to select the Sound Out option, and under Choose a device for playback: click to select waveOut:Windows' preferred device or waveOut:name_of_soundcard

5.Reboot your PC

its static i think is the sound

speakers work fine with everythign other than itunes
 
um its taking me, well lets see here going on 4 hours to download one episode of the colbert report. any ideas everything else is still working fine and goin fast
 
thats happened to me a couple times before. it will seem to happen with all my sound. sound on windows media player, itunes and everything. then shit just happens and it goes away. i guess this post wasnt helpful, cept that it just went away for me.

figure this out and ill even mail you 5 bucks im gettin fuckin annoyed by this now.

ONLY ITUNES has this problem. liek everything else sounds fine JUST itunes... HELP ME!
 
woah, I just beat the spambuster. Two posts at the exact same time. Can I beat it again...

And yeah, that sucks. I don't know what is wrong with the new itunes.
 
Go into your sound options and check the sound adjustment. iTunes has this where it increased the sound of all part of a song, and it makes the high and low notes get all fuzzy and distorted. It is usually only when you import songs, but there might be a master control for it. Or else try e-mailing iTunes troubleshooting or something (if it exists)
 
let me just say because i had this problem a very long time ago..

i had to get a new soundcard. It just didn't recongize new software. I can't explain why but it worked.
