Is there a binding that will actually last more than nine days of riding park? I have tried all the markers and the px12's and they all broke!

Marker makes bad park bindings except for the jester. If I were you I would look into the salomon sth 12,14, and 16.

Oh and also look at the Head mojo 15's. Not many people ride them but I they are supposed to be pretty durable.

Try a Jester if you haven't already, don't get the new Marker Griffon Jester look-alike, it's much weaker. Call Marker or wherever you bought it and see if they can warranty it, sometimes, there can be a manufacturing error in just one.

You pay for what you get. Marker Jesters are expensive and are notorious for pulling out of skis, but they are pretty bomb proof as well as many other bindings with a 14+ din set. The Rossignol Scratch 140 ti has a stronger heel piece than the 120's. Also, the Rossignol FKS series has a metal toe piece and a heel plate that is reinforced with metal so it won't crack. The Head 15's are strong, and the rossi and dynastar(look) 15's + are also very strong because they are metal. If you keep buying the light bindings like z12's, px12's, marker frees, etc...they will break, they are not meant to take huge impacts from skiing park or anything really hard for that matter. Hope this helps.

If you break shit a lot and you want burly then you might need an all metal binding. Pretty much every company makes some. If you want to stick with marker you might give these a shot

if those aren't burly enough for you, remove the spring cap and stick a few quarters in next to the din spring, IF THEY STILL arent burly enough for you, send me your autograph cause when the army takes you away for mutant research you'll be famous

whew you must be a monster, i had a pair of px12s last three seasons, finally the springs just wore out on them, which probably wouldnt be such a feat if you didnt know i break a pair of skis every two or three months, so i dont know what youve been doing

ive heard good things about the old 4frnts which were modified vists from friends, but im not sure about the new tyrolla based ones

if that doesnt work, just weld your boots to your skis as i dont think youve got too many more options left

px12's suck thats why they break. go with px15's or 18's maybe 14's, if you wanna stay with look. if you wanna go marker go with griffons or jesteres if you have the loot. solly- go with any of the sth's like the other dude said. tyrolia makes a good binding if you get one of the 15+ din ones, or you can go fksand get any of them thhey are legit as hell. i use jesters and they havent broken on me yet. good luck dude

ones that should not break:

Current production:

Salomon: sth16

Marker: nothing other then the 30dins but good luck finding a pair.

Head/Tyrola: Mojo 15, Mojo 20, others that have 15-20 dins

Fisher: ones that din ends in 17 or higher.

Discontinued:

Look: P 15, P 18,

Rossi: FXK 140, FKS 155, FKS 185

Salomon: s916, s920, there are more older ones but i don't know the names.

ya im sure he needs comp 30 race bindings. just slap some comp 14s on their and you should be fine. in fact i think i have a pair on some race skis downstairs i could sell.......

they are the shit man, i wont ride any other bindings. but if its the brakes that are breaking then it dosent matter what binding u buy they will break, especially if they are too wide for ur ski, u do rollerblade grinds, or if its cold as shit out

hey thanks for responses! i have tried the jesters and had to warranty them three times and the looks twice! what does everyone think about the 4frnts cause they seem to be burly but i have heard they can hurt your knee.

You need a metal binding:

Marker:

Comp 18.0 or 1800

Comp 20.0 or 2000

Comp 30.0 or 3000

Salomon:

s916

s920

older 997s

Look rossi

PX 18

P18

ZR18

FKX 180 pro

Tyrolia

FF 18

FF 20

etc there are more but you get the idea

Marker Comps have 3 screws in the toepiece and they're all right under your boot so they pull out super easy.

Salomon STH16's are an OK binding, I have seen a few broken pairs but not many. Much lighter than the S916's

The S916's and S920's are pretty bombproof as long as you keep the screws in the toe tight but they're heavy.

I really don't like the PX heel piece and I haven't tried the 15/18 so I can't comment.

FKS 155/185s are my favorite bindings; they're lighter than S916's and PX18's and they usually release when they're supposed to. They're not being made any more so they're hard to find. People say they tend to pull out but I haven't had any problems.

I haven't had any good luck with tyrolia but I don't know anything about their High end bindings.

Marker Jesters are a mixed bag, some like them, some don't.

like the guy above me said, if you buy this years 4frnt bindings, youll be fine b/c they are the same as head mojo 15s. Last years I wouldnt trust that much.
