HELP FOR SPEAKERS!!!!

ok so this is whats up. i have been needing a decent pair of speakers that will easily fit in a room, provide massive bass, and can hook up to an ipod or computer. 2.1 system is the best but 5.1 is fine as well. i am really looking at logitec but cant decide. if you have any other companies that abide by the above then i will look into them. ohh and $200 is around how much i am willing to spend. thank you NS.

I have these speakers and they bump pretty good. Apparently this is about the most power you can get from Klipsch or Logitech without going to 5.1? I feel like I remember when I got these there was a 2.1 logitech set that had a fat amp mounted on the sub box for like $220, shit got loud as hell.

If your really, really serious about the sound then I would try to find something more powerful, but the set I have gets plenty loud for normal use. That coming from someone who likes to hear the bass like its punching me in the dome.

8" i think, but what you really need to look at is the power the amp is pushing/power the sub can handle.

i got 5.1 logitech 5300e this summer. got off ebay refurbished for 80 bucks. sound really good, i haven't turned them up past about 60% volume yet. so yeah they go loud and don't distort at all.
