well im new to the park. And i was wondering what would be a good ski to start off on and in what size. im 5'7 150 pounds. i ski the east coast. and would be working on rails halfpipe and park. and need some help picking out skis to begin with.

thanks everyone

most important question for choosing skis is how much time ur gonna spend in the park 50/50 or are you just gonna chill there for the day

yes, i would definately go with fuji's they have a nice soft flex, they would be perfetc. Then again, u couldnt go wrong with the 1260's, i just perefer the fuji's for u

we bet this retarded kid to smoke a blunt on a bus. he got a 30 day suspension and had to go to court... oops.-Skiierman

no, you get a rear wheel drive car, and do a donut, and punt them across the street with the tail of the car. that's how to do it with ghetto bling bling steeze.-Bangor

^fujatives also have a wider waist so that'd make it easier for him for learning on rails compared to a 1260

start smoking crack. It'll probably be better for you, and you won't need alcohol anymore - Melvs

1260s are $350 retail. fujas are something like $200-250, so yeah. and line took out the carbon stringer in the 1260s this year, so the K2s and the lines are essentially the same, the K2s just being cheaper.

so yeah, go for the fujatives. get some look/rossi P10s, and you're set.

he's 5'7', so i think it'd be a waste getting even the largest juvy. go with the 169 fujas - they're about 5'5', so they're at the perfect length for you.

Def fujivties, because there cheap and since your a beginner in the park your gonna beat up your skis, so if you break them it wouldnt be too much of a loss. Plus from what i hear there good skis.

watch out on ebay for some twin tips from line, or K2 or whoever and get a cheap pair that were last years models....the 1080s or chronics are great

Here is a riddle: Micheal J. Fox has a small one, Arnold Schwarzenegger has a big one, the Pope has one but does not use it, and Madonna does not have one. What is it?
