Help Fitting FKS Heel Pieces?

Hey NS,

Just a little back story:

I purchased a pair of fks off here for a good price with 115mm brakes and my waist width on my skis are 84mm. I ended up finding some brakes that fit my skis and swapped the heel pieces and remounted. For some reason when I click in, the heel pieces don't snap up like they used to. I also noticed that my toe pieces looked like they were stretched horizontally like I was about to release out of my toes. I automatically thought that I had screwed my heel pieces on too tight to my brakes, so I loosened them and now I'm not sure if that was an okay move. It's still super easy to push the heel piece back even when my boot is locked in. Is there anything I can do before I get the "just take it to the shop" response? I feel like my boots shouldn't be that wide that my smaller brakes don't fit on them.

Here are some pics:

it seems to me like you got the right idea on getting them in the general area of proper forward pressure. However, the tab isn't always correct, and is a common myth. use the tab to get them close, then just fiddle with it until the dildo snaps up cleanly, and also so that you can grab and twist the turn table, and not be able to move it too easily, but not so tight you can't move it at all.

My shop can't even adjust the arms to be in the same spot (like one side was on the second ring, while the other side was on the first) so for my past two pairs of fks I've been adjus the fp myself And have had no problems.

Im currently pooping and am on mobile so sorry for the jumbled response. Pm me if you need clarification. It's really not that hard. Or pm rosboon or anyone else here in gear talk that's good.
