Help Epic Pass price

Hi, i´m thinking about going from spain to colorado in february 2011. I´ll stay there for 3 months more or less, so i should look for a season pass and i´ve been seeing that the epic pass is for the best resorts and it´s not very expensive (619$ it´s like 450€, and my local 20km resort season pass is 480€, so... it will worth for sure)
Now, my doubt it´s if it´s possible to buy the pass in february and if the price will be much more expensive, or even if we should buy another season pass, +k for every single help!!!
We don´t care if we can´t ski in any resort, just want the best quality/price season pass thinking that we will buy it in february. breck, kysteone, vail, a-basin... zone please!!!
 
They extended the selling date for the passes until today, the 21st. I'm pretty sure it's the last day you'll be able to buy it. If you're renewing a pass you can renew it online, but if not you have to purchase it in person. I'm not sure how you would do that since you're not here, but you should call the Vail pass office and ask them how you would go about that if you've never purchased one before: 303-504-5870In regards to the actual pass the Epic pass is sick, but the Colorado 5 Mountain pass is just as good of a deal if you're just looking at those resorts. It includes Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin, plus 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek and 5 days at Heavenly and Northstar, and it's $479 (or $359 if you're 18 or under). The difference is that Epic pass just includes unlimited Vail, Beaver Creek, Heavenly Northstar, and Sierra.

ok, that colorado 5 mountains should be a good thing also, but i mean, i am in spain and i´ll be here until february, so it´s not possible for me to buy it now.

so the question is if the epic pass will be in stock in february, and if it will be much more expensive then... and if not, if the colorado 5 mountains or other season passes are available in february. your colorado 5 mountains offer it´s really good, cause i´m really looking for keystone, breck and a-basin, and with that extra days in the other resorts will be great just for knowing them!

so ¿it will be any season pass like epic pass available in february and at what price?

I think it will depend on where you are staying... We are staying in Breck so we only bought the summit pas, it is Breck, keystone and a-bassin i think and som free days at the other resorts...

It will do fine cause we are not going to go that much arround... But if you think that you will spend a lot of time going to the other places then do it...

so depends on you'r plans, and if you have a car ;)

the point it´s not so much what pass to get, it´s more if there will be available this types os passes in february or if they are just offers for early season???? and algo if they are still available, if they are more expensive or the same price (i mean much more expensive, if it´s like 50$ more it won´t be a problem)

if this passes are still in february i don´t care more, because i´ll decide in the future what pass to get depending where i live and the cash i have in that moment.
 
If you can buy the Epic Pass today online or over the phone you should! 5 mountain pass with 10 days at vail/bc is called the Colorado Pass and is only available to buy in person.
I'm pretty sure the Epic Pass prices go up after today, a lot. You will not find a better price in Feb, and could be paying a whole lot more
 
2000 dollars is too much, yes...!!!
and today i´m not going to buy it because i´m not even sure i´m going to go, i wish i go, but first i need to finish the last 2 subjects of the university...
shit... so now i know that from tomorrow epic pass y 2000 dollars, the only possibility is colorado pass??? it´s any type of offer in february/march for the last part of the season, or I´ll have to pay more than 1000$ for sure if i want to ski in keystone, breck and a-basin???

wow... bad news... but not enough to still have a lot of hopes to go there!!!!

I thought when the epic pass deadline finished it will be a little bit more expensive, but not so much... now it´s 2000$ and i can´t see any other possibility different of the Full pass, something like a full colorado pass or full summit pass...
i don´t care not skiing out from key, breck and a-basin... but 2000 is too much!!!
i´m not going to go until february and buy the epic pass now was very dangerous as i could not pass my uni exams, have an injury here in spain or whatever...
What do people of the us that go there for 2 weeks in a school break or something like that do? just pay 2000$????

ask colby west he could probably hook u up with one haha but dude epic passes seem soo sick.. i have the new england pass which is sick but the epic pass is just epic
 
2000$? That is fucking ridiculous, definitely give them a call and see if you can work something out. I don't understand why they would make it so expensive
 
Keep checking the pass website over the next couple weeks, they will sometimes offer the epic/colorado/sumitt passes again for a couple days. No guarantees but they have in the past extended the early seasons prices later then originally advertised. If your only looking for a week or two you can definitely find deals - but a few months is another story.

ok, we are going to be there at least 2 months and we are three guys!
i will keep looking the website and if it´s possible and i don´t have any good sale until february, i will email or call them to ask if there is any possibility, if not, maybe i´ll look in utah, but i prefer colorado...
lets see if they put the epic or colorado again in sale!

yeah, it´s too expensive..
hope they deal with me, but i really don´t think so, here in spain the price is set and then is not possible to deal more, i don´t know how it works in usa...
howeer, here in spain in early season the price is for example 500€ and later it´s only 550€, so the difference is not of more than 1000$!!!!
 
they do it so weekend warriors is kept to a minimum. People think its a better deal when they come to buy a 10pack instead of the passes. So they raise the price on the pass after a certain date to make money
 
yes, i know why they do it, but it´s still too much go from 619$ to 2000$...
I hope if i talk with them in the future... i don´t really care if they restrict me the use over the weekends for example, as i can ski every week day and then the weekends make some trips to know usa places... i don´t care not skiing during weekends, college breaks or things like that if i can save some money in my season pass!
 
Its vail resorts, dont get your hopes up :( if i could id give you my epic pass that i wont use once this year and they wont give me a refund without being preset at a ticket office
 
ask there... maybe as it´s early season they let you put it to other name, so you could sell it to me or something like that...

i´m open to any idea, i just want to save money.... more i save in season pass, more i hace to move around usa when i´m not skiing...!!!! Las Vegas!!! fuck yeah!

Because im spanish, i don´t know how it works this pass and to who i have to make this questions as it´s a pass for a lot of resorts... (vail, breck, key??? who???)
But sorry if ot´s a pain in your ass that i make a question in the phorum...

Anybody else knows something? of it´s possible to get a discount, buy it to someone else (i say this because a girl sent me an email saying that she was os the university os colorado and they get some free passes that they usualy sell because they already have their own season passes!)
