so when ever i try to do a switch up on a box i can never seem to be able to get the spin because my front foot slips on the box. any suggestions on how to get the grip on the box? thanks.

take your forward leg and dig your edge in on the same side of the rail. If your right foot is forward your right side of the box you dig your edge into and if your left foot is forward the left side and basically from there you just commit and spin

well i dont think making 2 threads were necessary. but since ur a newb i would go for the easiest way to do a front side switch up on a box, just jump on sideways and continue spinning while on the box and hop and do a 180 and it should come around.
ps. your prolly not the first one in all of NS history to ask advice on a switch up, so use that nice little searchbar at the top of ur page at it'll save you time and hate from everyone

Yea im sorry about the double post i did not mean to do that. i also did check the search bar and found nothing. thanks for you help!

That would be blindisde.

For frontside you're gonna wanna come on to the box more to the right if you slide right foot forwards or vice versa. scissor your skis and dig in that front edge. You should have a little forward momentum going now, so just hop up and spin 180 towards the front of the box.
