Help decorate our pong table!

We built this one day out of complete boredom. It has a lock on the end, removable legs, handles, hardwood top, molding and soon to come, liner on the inside to keep our liquid cold for carrying. We need help decorating it and I thought who better to ask than newschoolers! We're looking for ski stickers or any stickers really. Karma will be given out plentifully if you guys can help us out. Just post or send me a pm if you want to contribute.

bingo... mine is just fun spray painted graphics, and i may doan actual paintjob and then gloss it, but i dunno about stickers, just take a sticker, and make a stencil in a similar design and do that, but the thing is sick, mine is just a huge long plank i lay over a table... how long is yours? (no homo for all the 12 yr olds on ns)

I'm terrible at painting. If I can find someone to paint it for me then by all means but if I fuck up stickers I can easily take them off. It is regulation height and length for a pong table. 30 inches high and 8ft long.

word, you should know someone whos good at graff. It workes out for me because one of my friends does ecko adds *claim. But if you want something easy just tape out some lines to make 2 triangles on each side for the cups, and do like pinstripe down the middle or something just paint a base layer then lay tape down in what ever pattern you want then paint over it again. easy and you can get some sick patterns

whatever you decide to put on it, i recommend putting a glossy clear coat on it after. me and my chums made a table and the clear coat really water/beer proofed it and for an added bonus, cans slide really well across it.

heres ours:

we also measured and placed dots that the back cups can not go behind (we use the cup away from the edge rule) the middle dot is for 6 cup and the outside two dots are for 10 cup. we also included a friendly reminder to keep elbows behind the edge of the table.

i say just paint the triangle edges for guidlines, and keep it wood grain but maybe a coat of gloss to make it water/beer proof. easy and looks good

i saw the best idea for a table but i don't know if it'll work for that one. the table was a door from the house that the guys nailed 2x4 around the top of it. this helped with balls rolling away, and spillage on the floor. if u could find a way to do that i think that would be tight.

be sick if each side was slliiggghhtttllyyy tilted towards the centre and then have like a drainage hole and collection bucket or something, and then like a liner all the way around to keep stuff from going to the floor

That's such a sick table. You lined the inside so you can put the beer cans in there? Do the legs go on the inside too? Unless you can find someone to do some fresh graphics, I would just put a gloss finish on it. If you just do the gloss, let people draw their own little things on the table at the party- just have some sort of rule where you can't draw a million penises. Over time it will fill up and look pretty good.

word. we just have a regular fold up ping pong table in the woods. your idea is sick though. unless you know someone who will make it look sick, leave it and let people draw what they want on it like a collage?

oh i didnt realized there was a regulation size... mine a little over for length, and height varies, but that sick, what you should do is stain it and then poly urethane over that so that its just a sick color, then put stickers over that i guess

found that one on college humor.

I would say just come up with a design, draw it out and then paint it up. remember light coats and you'll do fine

or sticker the shit outta the thing.

I also kind of like the idea of staining a design in to it then clear coating the whole thing

my friends and i made a sick pong table with bottle caps and plexi glass....8x3 feet.....there r beer drinkign rules on the side

That is absolutely disgusting. I brought a sharpie and had people sign the sides last night. When that fills up we're moving on to the top. I still can't find the right foam to cover the inside but I added more latches to keep it closed and not put strain on the lock. We found out it's very easy to carry while running last night.

and i would totaly spend the 600 to make it or whatever it was, i guess they sell those tables too i bet theyre about 2000

Price Breakdown:

$15.00 for colored duct tape

Road signs- free

TV Trays to hold up table $12.00

Massachusetts Decal $4.00

total price for a portable table that lasted for 3 years in college: $31.00

bahahaha those guys who made the table with all the LED lights are typical engineers, they get crazy ideas, spend the time to make them happen, but forget to use common sense... unless you line the rims of the cups with some sort of glow in the dark stuff you cant play pong in the dark, basically making all those LEDs worthless because the lights will be on...

dont get me wrong, that table is fucking epicccc, but i go to school with so many kids like this its just funny to see them somewhere else too... needless to say, i'd love to have a table like that just for the novelty haha

we scrapped one of the topsheets from a box in our park a couple seasons ago so my buddy and i took it, cut holes in it for cups, gave it some supports and we had a sickkk pong table. the fun box top sheet from FallLine works so well as a pong table surface.

That puts ours to shame. Ours is still much more practical and for being less than $20 total, I think it will provide hours of enjoyment.
