Ok so last year i got professionally fitted for a pair of dalbello krypton pros with id liner, i got custom footbeds, got the liners molded everything, spent a ton. I like the stiffness of the boot but now im thinking i want something thats not quite as stiff, my question is can i call dalbello and buy a softer tongue from them or would that even make a difference? I have the boot set up as soft as it can be right now and thats still a fair bit stiffer then what i want right now. Or am I out of luck and need to buy a whole new boot.
Thanks for the help +K

the pro ids for 2010/11 come with 2 tongue options. white = stiff, and black = softer. I would imagine there is a softer option for you. contact them, their customer service is good.

yeah, mine came with two as well a black and a grey and i am using the softer tongue but still 120 flex, im wanting to give 80 a shot

Take a look at the back of your softest tongue there will be a letter stamped or printed somewhere rating how soft it is. A = Stiffest. D = Softest. The krypton rampage tongues are C and I assume would fit the pros. If they would be softer than what you have that could be an option. Otherwise the ilmoro tounges are D i believe but you'd want to check if they fit on the pros. Not sure who sells them though, try Dalbello direct or see if you can get hold of some used from a beat up pair of old boots on the cheap, the tongues will still be fine.

Go to the shop that you bought the boots from. They will be able to order you softer tongues.
