I may be way off on this, but I recall an event yearly that was for a charity of some sort. Teams would be made from the community/university and would participate in different events, like snow sculpting, crazy carpet races, that kinda stuff...

Sorry for the late reply I've been busy trying to get our park off the ground.

Snowfest is scheduled to be a skier/boarder cross.
