Help. can u dye c bar frame

oh. well i didnt dye my riggers i bought them dyed from a kid on here but i have dyed a lacrosse head and u use RIT dye(they have a shitload of colors you can find the dye at a craft store) . it was really easy to dye stuff. i learned from this video.
. ino this kid is little but it really works well trust me.

Take an old pot, one that you don't necessarily need anymore and boil water.

Then once the water is boiling, stick them in the water for a while.

This will open the pores in the plastic so it accepts the dye.

Third you poor in the RIT dye. Here is the link to their website,

I don't know if you can buy online but I know like every craft store

has it and I just got mine at Walmart. http://www.ritdye.com/home.lasso

Fourthly you remove the goggles from the water and dump the dye in.

Make sure you turn the stove down a little bit so it's not so hot, and

also STIR THE DYE VERY WELL! Make sure there are no chunks.

Fifth you stick the goggles in and wait until they appear to have

the color you want, then leave them in for about another minute.

Finally remove the goggles, rinse them extremely well and enjoy!

and look at my pics to see the ones i dyed

does it change the colour completely or for instance if i have yellow C bars and want to make them blue will it turn them green? or does the dye completely cover it and change it??

does the powder stuff work just as well as the liquid stuff or should i just used liquid? and also i heard that if you want to make a design on it then putting hot glue over the spots that you dont want died works. is this true?

Yeah it works super well. I did my blue fades and it worked well.

Boiled up some water then put in the RIT dye (liquid stuff) once it wasn't boiling any more, then put in the gogs. Make sure you wash out the foam after though, because otherwise it can come out on your skin when you're riding and you get a nice coloured outline on your face.

Maybe if you want them a darker colour. Not something bright but I'm sure it could change them to something different.

you cant dye them a lighter color. your best bet it to trade someone red for white or spray paint them

homie died his purple. you gotta start with white for the best results. boil water, add dye pack, dump in riggers/frame/whatever you want to dye. the longer you leave it in, the darker the color will be.

once i find a pair of white goggles i'm gonna do a full video tutorial on dying them.

if anyone has some white c bars they want to have dyed i could do the video, dye them for you, and send em back to you.

Yeah, i didn't think it was too hard to understand that you can only dye a darker color. Good luck to those of you who are trying to dye your black goggles bright green.

I've always wanted to dip half of the goggle in so you'd have like 1 half white and 1 half another color. If you made some type of rig, you could do it at an angle and get two colors separated at an angled, hard edged line. Thanks to the miracle of photoshop:
