HELP! Best/Cheapest Resorts out west - Colorado, Idaho, etc.

So a few friends and I want to take a trip out west again this year.  Last year we went to Copper.  This year we're looking for something cheaper, as we are all in college and poor.  Ideally we're looking for something in Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, or somewhere around there.  We need lodging as well, but will prolly end up camping.  Thanks for your help!

come to canada marmot basin is sweet but by far the best is kicking horse on the trans canada but you have to be a really good skier to ski there

get cheap hotel in slc go to brighton and solitude both a little over 50 a day

this is pretty good advice. if you can rent a car or the hotel is close to UTA it should be super cheap, also some of the hotels in the valley run shuttles to the mountain in the morning, i know ours didn't but i saw a couple.

Targhee and Teton Pass are sweet, and you can stay in the Motel 8 in Jackson for $35 a night or maybe somewhere in Driggs since it's closer (I don't know anything about lodging in Driggs). Moonlight Basin and Bridger Bowl are both reasonably priced for the time being and there's a hostel here in Bozeman--again, not sure on prices.

I would recommend breckenridge and keystone, especially if you like park. and breck has some sick t-bar access stuff and their imperial chair which takes you to the absolute top of the peaks....if you remember them hyping it up a few years ago.

go to tahoe.. best weather. most mountains in a close area. sick terrain and super super good parks.. like northstar, alpine, sierra, heavenly .. all sick and cheap

If you can make it to Canada, you should try Kicking Horse. No crowd, fresh pow.

If you want cheap tickets, the 2nd most snow in the state (400 inches/yr), no lift lines - Loveland is the place for you!
