Help an OG Newschooler beat Ellen Degeneres

Look we could debate whether I even qualify as an OG, but let's make haste and come together for a real cause:

I need to beat Ellen Degeneres.

About 10 years ago, I got a bad haircut. Not "I got drunk and decided to shave my head" bad, but sub par to say the least. Curses of a college budget and a little too much trust in the local salon school. I looked... a bit... effeminate. It's how I earned the nickname Ellen. As in Ellen Degeneres. It really stuck. To this day, I'm Ellen Dee to many of my friends. I wish I could dig up a pic, but you're really just gonna have to trust me on this. The resemblance was striking.

Fast forward to 5 days ago. Reelgood, the tiny (read: 8 person) start-up I helped found, has been nominated for a Webby under the category Best Entertainment App. Guess who's in the running? Ellen Degeneres. And I'm not referring to myself in the third person here by using my own nickname. The Ellen Degeneres App is nominated in our category. Along with Fandango and Marvel. So we're real underdogs here.

As it stands right now, we are absolutely neck and neck with Ellen in 2nd place. Seems to be fluctuating daily. So, I'm here to call on the NS forums to help me out in my time of need and help us beat out my nemesis. It would really mean a lot to us to put in a strong showing here and even more to me given my history with the magnanimous talk show host.

Also, for those thinking about doing this, you can enter a fake e-mail address. It does not send a verification e-mail. Just input a random e-mail and a random password and you're done. Takes thirty seconds.
 
Pics or it didn't happen. But seriously you cant produce one pic from this period of time that forever molded your life?
 
You've been on here probably 10 years longer then ACID and he tells everyone how he's an og even though he isn't. Id say 2004 is safe to claim og status for sure.

Kinda found the opposite to be true on the confirmation tho, they say they don't count the vote until you confirm it.
 
Done and yes, you have to confirm an email sent to the address you give them. click confirm and the vote is sent.

For what it's worth I actually did give them a real e-mail address. They never sent a confirmation e-mail and it said my vote was registered.

Voted mostly because I relate almost too hard with you. Im really blonde and people think they are sooo fucking funny whenever you get a haircut and call you ellen.
