For any of you in Canada, you would have heard about the CBC Searchlight competition.. If you're American or European, or other, it's basically a look for some new bands to publicize, and the winner gets a 20,000 CAD prize for music gear. My band's doing fairly well in our region, but we need your votes to help us get to the next round!

If you could vote just once, that'd be awesome, you don't need to sign up for anything... But you can vote once a day and if you did that, that'd be even better (I'm not expecting you to go on every day though:P)!

This is the first searchlight for bands. Previously it was for canadas best record store, best music venue, and best canadian music website.
 
Hey guys! A few days ago the regional semi finals were announced, and my band made it to the top 20, which means we beat well over 100 other groups. This is a huge honour from us, seeing as we're competing with groups that live in huge cities (our town's population is like 6000). Thanks so much for your votes! We're in a competition now for the top 5, same way to vote.

If you'd like to vote again or take a listen to some of the tracks my band and the others have up, that'd be awesome. Thanks again for the support.
